And we all know he is driven by the desire for approval from his dead dad.
and how exactly do we know that?
Unloving dads play a major part in the background many screwed up people.
Historical reports of the type of man Fred Trump was and what he used to do to and for Donald and his brothers give us quite an insight into how screwed up his family is/was.

Especially given the fact Don's brother killed himself due to alcoholism led on by the way his dad and Donald ganged up and bullied the hell out of him for not wanting to go into the family business.

The signs are there if people actually want to look and it's obvious that Eric is right that he's still trying to gain approval in his dead dad's eyes. That lack of love and respect can leave someone with a seriously huge chip on their shoulder and some very anti-social behavioural issues, not to mention rampant narcissism coming from an incessant need to prove oneself and never quite being satisfied.

Ok, there’s a bunch of news headlines with the Guardian at the top. I have read said article and it is hysterical drivel - it’s amazing people are taken in by such sophistry. Please tell me no PHer thinks this is worth forming your opinions from?!

The author’s “argument” seems to be that because Trump disapproves of mass migration into Europe and sees it as a threat to European culture that he is thus some terrible racist. Is that REALLY where the bar is for racism now?

As for linking me wikipedia...have a laugh on me.

Do you understand the difference between actual evidence vs some opinion piece or an editable wikipedia article?
I don't wish to derail the thread (sorry!) and I don't wish to be unwelcoming to newbies (also sorry!) but what's the deal with all these new people signing up and posting strongly political views and not much else? Doesn't anyone else find it a touch suspicious that there's a lot of new members that will just suddenly sign up and start posting a load of pro-Trump/Brexit/populist politics stuff? What gives?

I'm all for free speech and that, it just seems odd that they all seem to fit a certain profile...

The man is a loon!!
His desperation shines like a massive orange beacon.
Something big coming, he's had some bad news?

HUGE rants overnight, threatening Iran in capitals, calling the trump investigation and Russian election interfering a big hoax again.

What threat has Iran issued overnight to provoke this response?

So President Obama knew about Russia before the Election. Why didn’t he do something about it? Why didn’t he tell our campaign? Because it is all a big hoax, that’s why, and he thought Crooked Hillary was going to win!!!

He knows, he was briefed, his team was breiefed. He has continuously been told before the election that the Russians was interfering but he continuously denies it.

So two huge rants, following a weekend playing golf at one of his courses. Mind you last week (designated jobs week) was disasterous, all the fallout from his treason in Helsinki, his release of Cohens tape backfiring, the reports of how much money he's spent from his 2020 election fund on his current legal fees...

Something big is coming?

I'm no fan of hers, but I can't disagree with her on that.

not much new tbh, however, it is the excuse that the U.S government needs to ramp up pressure on the Chinese. The question is what will the Chinese response be. If the Chinese fail to act we will see fireworks.

if the Chinese don't act I would expect India, Japan and South Korea are brought into the firing line.

this is a U.S government play, not a trump play, trump is just doing what he does best and be noisy whilst the real politics plays out behind the scenes.

He uses twitter as his main megaphone to the world but is clearly too thick to understand that every time he says anything nearly every reply is anti trump and most of his posts are just plain wrong and invite complete mockery.

So much so that anyone with an ounce of intelligence would have realised that a long time ago, stopped, and gone onto something like a daily update though a bespoke website.

Gearing up for a war to deflect from him going to jail perhaps.

He is getting seriously unhinged. The last few tweets have been insane.

Putin won't let him attack Iran.

His recent tweets make him look like a spoilt child.

Will Mueller be able to prosecute him as an adult?

To his supporters his tweets are a breath of fresh air. On the last tweet alone - 125,000+ likes

The most liked anti-trump reply inside that tweet - 200+ likes and the person who posted it has no clue at all why Trump or the U.S government would make a play against Iran.

Manafort trial this week, so he's in full distract mode (see also Iran rant).

Obama of course did want to tell everyone about the Russian election interference, but McConnell threatened to say he was only saying it to help HRC win, so he backed down. As usual, the exact opposite of Trump's lies.

Yesterday it was reported that the trump allies on the House Intelligence committee, Trump allies on Senate Judiciary, and Trump allies at the Treasury Department BLOCKED any attempts to investigate Butina and Torshin last year.
