So the George Soros thing is something I don't really understand, could someone explain?

I understand that he's a very wealthy donor to the Democrats, but isn't he just the left wing equivalent of what the Koch Brothers are to the Republicans? I don't hear about them being demonized in the same way - or is it just that I'm not looking in the right places?

At some point in the future Macron may wish he was bending down to tie his shoelaces when that picture was taken.

He is rich and he is jewish and he promotes liberal beliefs and values through his philanthropic efforts. That makes him a convenient target for the extreme right because he believes in the things that the extreme right wing do not.

Never mind that he has been rich and jewish for at least the past thirty years he has been doing a pretty crap job of doing whatever the republicans and other groups accuse him off. Hungary is much the same, they dont like the fact he uses his money to fight against right wing extremism.

You think pictures like this will be bad for trump or will encourage the American public to vote against him?

Europe appeasing a strong dictatorial & expansionist eastern power whilst struggling between hard left/hard right social pressures and a financial mess (Euro) soon to rear its ugly head, what could possibly go wrong. It has never happened before has it....oh wait
Remember when the US and Europe stood with Britain after Putin's attack in Salisbury? Didn't take long for Europe to forget, yet people are projecting this picture as a symbol of the decline of the UK and the US.

Would the same people be applauding May if she was there too? Hardly.

Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border. Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through the legal process. This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!

There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame...
....of Anger and Outrage and we will then be able to bring all sides together in Peace and Harmony. Fake News Must End!

When the news coverage of a trump/MAGA-inspired white supremacist shooting has to be interrupted to announce another trump inspired MAGAbomber bomb threat, whilst trump continues his hate preaching...

trump loves his superlatives....

Under his presidency, deadliest massacre of Jews in US history (magashooter), deadliest mass shooting in US history (Las Vegas), deadliest high school shooting in US history (Parkland), Biggest political assassination attempt in US history. (magabomber)

To be fair I think only 2 of those can be blamed indirectly on Trump, and isn't "biggest political assassination attempt" overegging the pudding somewhat? I'm not sure how viable those devices were and, given the demographic that Trump seems to draw much of his support from, I almost imagine them posting a big round bomb with a fuse coming out of it and the letters BOMB inscribed on the side to each target.

It depends on what the reason is and how/who is reporting it; Realpolitik would give May justification for being in this photo-op provided sanctions on russia remain in place(and as far as I'm aware they do), no doubt the press would give her a hard time but she seems impervious to such things. Our domestic affairs do not exist in a vacuum.

The FBI are adamant that those bombs were genuine and not just designed to scare. On the assumption that this is true, it IS the largest attempt to take out important political and media figures in one act in American history.

Squirrels!

Why not address the substance of the issue - somebody tried to murder a whole bunch of people because he supports Trump and Trump constantly encourages violent acts.

We don't know for sure who or what the target was for Flight 93 because it never made it to where it was being directed. It's possible of course.

But there is no doubt who those bombs were addressed to.

I accept that I would make the assumption that a "political target" that was full of "political people" was the reason for a plane to head towards Washington.

I’d rather see Turkey as the regional power than Saudi. Even Erdogan is preferable to MbS and Trump.
This might be a case of being careful for what one wishes for. Turkey under Erdogan is very much one of the main backers of the Muslim Brotherhood. It is quite doubtful that MbS and therefore by default the Saudis offers something that is actually worse than the world as envisaged by the Brotherhood...

In Florida there is a choice between a Harvard/Yale educated man named @RonDeSantisFL who has been a great Congressman and will be a great Governor - and a Dem who is a thief and who is Mayor of poorly run Tallahassee, said to be one of the most corrupt cities in the Country!

But then.

Telling me to calm down whilst swearing angrily and mistaking me for another poster. Perhaps it's you who needs to calm down?

Also I note, still sidestepping the actual issue and debating semantics.

Trump foments violence, violence happens. A massacre in a synagogue, bombs in the mail.
