Say how that poster is Racist
I think you've just made my point, thank you.
The poster pictures a real image of real people because of what they're doing/what is happening. If you think it's racist if such a poster also incidentally happens to be of people of X ethnicity then it says more about you.

Is a concern about immigration ‘racist’?
Is this picture racist? If not, how would you describe it;

Would you say 'It shows concerns about immigration'?
I would say -------- Read the Thread----------- this subject has been covered.

Please stop just repeating the same stuff time and time again.

Is this Racist ?

This image like the poster, and irrespective of the colour, creed, origin or religion is an image of people waiting to cross that boarder (illegally) is not racist.

Quite, to me it looks like they’re trying to prepare us for the worst as the likelihood of that scenario has increased but that doesn’t make it the most likely outcome.

Yes, I'll now post more posts, you'll do your usual semantics dance till I get bored with it. Or if you are really interest you can do rather simple search yourself.
So you’ll make a claim that you can’t substantiate and pretend it’s someone else’s fault?

It’s a shame that you don’t apply the same standards of evidence and nitpicking to your own claims that you do to others. Never mind.
You are really overusing that 'Never mind' thing. As for the rest, we've been through the same scenario many times. It ends up in one of the two ways;
You do the 'oh that, it was a mistake', or you flounce off after mind-numbingly predictable semantics dance. Here, have another one first search result

No I’m not. It’s entirley appropriate to deal with your nonsense. And your claims are still untrue.

Do you genuinely not understand how pathetic that was?
You really do manage to redefine black as white, don't you? Flouncing and pathetic, yet you cannot stop yourself from responding?

Maybe you should sit down and count posts off and on topic.
That's right, other people have called you a troll, but the 'racist' accusations that you seem to have forgotten about came when someone called you a Toxic Finn. My apologies for not remembering the relevant insult.

Just scanning through the last couple of pages here seems to back up the kind of attitude I've seen in real life too - that is brexit voters being painted as ignorant, thick, racists, uneducated and so on.

This one goes further, not only are people calling Brexit voters 'thick, racists, uneducated and so on' on the forum (mind, without a shred of evidence), but he also sees that 'in real life too'.

Do you get call racist in real life, 'too'? Anything on that picture from that propaganda movie; do you think that it was racist? I'll understand if you don't want to answer.

You don’t ‘understand’ half as much as you think you do. And you certainly don’t seem to understand how little anyone cares about your opinions.

Well, yes and no.
I have some visibility of what’s happening with respect to aerospace and truth be told everything is currently massively industry lead. No deal planning has been on the table for a considerable time. There is also actually a lot of stuff that is defined, regulated and governed at a higher level than EASA/CAA or ESA on the space side. It’s not glamorous or bigly news, but nuts n bolts stuff that keeps stuff moving. The emphasis on the planning is minimal change - basic contingency and change management in terms of process: stuff that a lot of professionals on here are somewhat familiar with.

I’ve suspected for a long time that it would be a hybrid No Deal/cobbled plaster in the short term. Nothing else is really politically viable and certainly within my industry that is now th default position. The no deal stuff can be protected against, it’s the nature of the cobbling that is providing much of the guesswork and even that can have scenarios placed against the different outcomes.

At the moment it looks very much like it’s going down to a ‘no deal’ outcome, but as our PM said at the outset it’s better than a ‘bad deal’.
The U.K. will move onto the WTO and will feel the heat for five years or likely more in terms of finance and standards of living for its majority population.
My question is how will a no deal affect the major EU Countries, Germany, France, Italy and Spain for example.
It really doesn’t, that likelihood is vastly exaggerated.
Indeed, it’s more than likely the U.K. will secure a deal at the last minute. However, I am still curious as to the effect that a no deal would have upon the EU major Countries. I am interested in this to better understand the ‘pressure’ upon the EU to secure some sort of deal, pressure which seems to be unreported.

I'm still very curious why would I be 'smarting'? The rest I've heard before, so no interest in that part. Whenever you are ready.

No need to apologize. Quite a few people, among other things, have called me 'toxic Finn'. It was, IIRC, invented by one of my regular stalkers and then repeated by the herd.
I think I found it weird and questioned if the 'Finn' part was important.

To segue (thanks duck) this back into the thread; Raab seems more able and competent than Davis.

You asked for examples, and you were given some, from the very long list of search results. As predicted, you are doing your usual dance.

As for the rest; I know that a lot of people care very little about my opinions. That's perfectly fine. I care a lot about your opinion of that poster. So I'll ask for the third time; do you think that that black and white still from the movie is racist, and if not, how would you describe it?

You claimed that x > y.
Cherry picking examples of x and ignoring examples of y doesn’t evidence anything. HTH.

Plus of course when someone did actually search PH history to evidence something that had been claimed, you repeatedly bring that up as being ‘sad’ etc.

LOL. Nope, no go.
Misrepresentation, as usual. I claimed that the sad part is going message by message and counting insults from the post. You are doing the usual strawman act and misrepresenting what I said. Even you should be able to understand the difference.

Unless I am very much mistaken, it was me that first called JJ the toxic Fin (I think I only used one n, )
Did he think that that was racist? rofl He needs to understand that I called him the toxic Fin because he is toxic AND comes from Finland (ie, not racist) as opposed to him being toxic BECAUSE he comes from Finland (which would be racist)

But given that JJ has a history of misinterpreting the English language, (often as a way of obfuscating his own mistakes) it is perhaps not surprising that he's got hold of the wrong end of the stick (again)

If you truly believe that then there is a great opportunity to make money.

This betting website has a "no deal" Brexit at 4/6

https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-polit...

Independent cites odds of 1/2 for no deal in late July
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/bre...

There are two fundamental problems for a "deal" outcome as far as I can see.

Firstly May's attempts to find something that will meet the EU's requirements over the NI border that is politically acceptable to the wider public.

Secondly getting such a deal through parliament.

No, not afraid. But good try.

Whenever you don’t answer a question posed to you, are you ‘afraid’? biggrin

‘No deal’ of any kind or no trade deal?

Surely the ‘cliff edge’ risk that people are referring to relates to the former, not the latter?
