I drove past the spot yesterday when visiting my Mum. The tree is festooned with cheap flowers. When I was a kid, the houses along there were desirable.

Dunno, but this guys tyre was flat - like visibly, definitely flat. Although, in his defence, only at the bottom.
That’s because all the air had gone to the top. I think it is one of those quantum probability events.

It's not just kids though. I flagged a bloke off the M6 a month or two back. He'd overtaken as he'd joined the motorway in his new Jaguar XE with the O/S rear tyre as flat as a pancake. He slowed after overtaking and I re-passed and gave the horn a polite 'toot' and gestured, at his back wheel. He nodded, and slowed right down, by which I took it to mean either he'd realised what I was on about or knew already but decided to embark on a motorway journey. Either way, he was a total muppet, needlessly endangering the lives of other road users.
How exactly was he a total muppet? If your desciption is accurate he noticed you signalling him and slowed down, presumably to stop somewhere, and if he'd already slowed down after overtaking you maybe the tyre had just gone flat and he'd already realised. What were you expecting him to do? Teleport to the hard shoulder? Climb out the window and change the tyre on the move?
You could not drive that car without realised there was something seriously amis unless you were a total muppet. Have you ever had a totally flat tyre? Have you seen what happens when one blows out on a busy motorway at 70mph? He was 100% prime, free range muppet.
He did realise, and before you warned him acc. to your description. You sound terribly eager to prove your motoring prowess....

the link above is only yards from where the 4 young men were killed. All 20/30 mph and full of speed cameras. yet look at the damage.

The lambo- well I was driving through Bradford city centre at 5pm on Saturday. I got caught up in a convoy of 15/20 young Pakistani men, mainly in rented supercars all acting like utter bell ends. holding the traffic up, drag racing each other, trying to get a perfect 2 lane convoy. All right in the centre, with shoppers about etc on 20/30 mph roads. I guy in soft top Ferrari was driving like he was going to kill himself. Looks like a few hours later the lambo bought it.

so 10,000 at a funeral, lessons and preaching from Inman's, MP's and not a single lesson learnt.

well at least this time they can't blame the 5-0 for chasing them!

I'm just waiting for some bellend from broke/20splenty to call for lower speed-limits for the area like they seem to do after these sorts of issues

this is where they were trying to get their cars to hit 100 !! looks highly suitable doesn't it.

Asian lads are talking about the lambo crash at work. seemingly the £5k deposit on the credit card is then lost. then the "car hire" company will demand the repairs be paid for in cash also- forget through "insurance" like any "normal" company.

They live at home with mum and dad and have little or no other commitments. "Minimum wage" take-home is £1k a month. They spend all their money on cars. that's how a lot of them manage to afford Audis/BMws/mercs.

Presumably not many drink either (at least not to the levels many others of their age do...), which gives them another chunk of disposable income.

Perish the thought.

ETA I’m sure there was another thread recently where (IIRC) a Ferrari had been written off by somebody basically driving like a dick. There were similar comments on that thread but it seemed to go strangely quiet when the driver turned out to be somebody called Carl....

How much do you think it costs to have a German car on lease? You could have a fairly rubbish job but still need to impress the neighbours or try to convince the office totty that you’re not a sad middle-aged has-been, , all for £400pcm.....

Completely agree. But sometimes on PH it seems a tt is a tt because of their skin colour.

Not only that, they have a cultural dislike of gardens as well......

Have to say, that one needs an explanation! Have I missed something?

(Most likely answer is 'Yes' ... .)

I believe the yellow Huracan spider was written off on Saturday evening outside the Alhambra, I saw it at apperley bridge earlier on Saturday afternoon and yes he was driving it like a tt.

Are you talking about this thread, where 'Carl' was first mentioned ~25 posts into the thread, and it continued for another 400 odd posts?
