and again- the city centre. 30 mph at max. yet someone has hit a lampost and then sped off, killing someone in the process. Honestly I've been to every bit of the UK: no where tops Bradford city centre for poor driving.
there was a BBC TV prggramme on the other night, set in Bradford about young asian men. filmed them having car meets in a Lidl carpark.
lots of reving of engines of mark 4/5 golfs and other such junk.
One of my Pakistani colleagues at work was saying when he and his son watched it: his son was pointing at the tv going: "he's a drug dealer, he's a drug dealer and so on".
goodness know's what the plan is for this generation but certainly the older Asian community are sick of it too.

And how does he know them all so well...?irocfan said:
probably more accurate to say that they don't identify as being English/British in the main...
What do you base that statement on? Afaics all we know for definite is that they were driving like cretins. I’m not sure what other knowledge we have to assume they didn’t identify as being british/English?pc.iow said:

What makes someone English? The only thing needed to "be English" is to say "I'm English", same as you can say "I'm a Londoner" or "I'm a scouse" or "I'm from Northamptonshire". I don't give the first toss for any kind of regional identifier, and don't feel the need for one. I'm British - it says so on my passport, and that's the only way that any kind of regional identity or nationality that matters in the slightest outside of your own head.
So if these muppets had Pakistani passports, they were Pakistani. If they had British passports, they were British. It's all irrelevant anyway, unless somebody's trying to make some kind of point.

As usual that would be you
Only point I'm trying to make is that, by all reports, these guys were 100% as British as me or (I presume) you. They held UK passports. No more, no less. For the pedants...
