...and this 'thing' is our next Prime Minister is it??

Labour had a mad old far-left tramp 'leader' years ago. Can't remember his name. No-one voted for him and he vanished. Surely this one'll go the same way?

and fearless and willing to lay down his life for his country, seems such a youtube style comment to describe him as above in this thread.
but then that passes for political debate on the web.

Hmmmm, more intelligent than Corbyn, yes.

Anyway - he gave rise to my favourite Times headline, 'Foot Heads Arms Body'.

Think he was also totally honest and upfront about what he wanted for the Country compared to Steptoe he would be totally electable.

I've found out he's on holiday in North Somerset. That's a bit close for comfort (Dorset).

He won't get much love round here, oh maybe Bristol...

Is anyone actually surprised by Corbyn's past affiliations . Its just another day I am not sure how bad a headline would have to be for people to be shocked.

I'd be inclined to agree with you but you meet people who 'love' Corbyn and they really haven't a clue - they just hear 'free st' and lap it up without any further thought.

Foot was hardly a tramp and compared to Corbyn wasn't a mad ideologue; as leader of the opposition he voted with the government to approve the use of military force to remove Argentina from the Falklands. Just an old fashioned socialist; in favour of nationalising things, council houses and organised labour.

How is he still the leader of a mainstream political party?

Oh yeah, he isn't.

Unfortunately he is, and due to the stunning incompetence of the Conservatives, is not far from being in charge of this country.

But all he's doing is honouring those brave freedom fighters who killed and castrated unarmed hostages
