Wanting your own country back and to take back control seems a popular thing in the UK over the last few years, which should garner some sympathy towards the Palestinian people who want that also....but yet it doesn't...

Some people dislike black people still banging on about slavery... Yet Jews get a free pass regards the Holocaust ...
Not saying either shouldn't BTW, both were shocking moments in history, but strange how some dismiss one whilst getting behind another....
'yet the jews get a free pass regards the Holocaust' seriously ?

Brexit was already selected by the Affiliates - as you have now indicated. From what I've read, the CLP avoided voting for the same topics as they were already guaranteed to be on the list. if they had voted for Brexit as well, there would have been fewer debates. As for the NHS - i can't answer on behalf of the CLP's, but maybe as Labour already has settled policy on the NHS, and it was covered in speeches and seminars, it didn't rank so high?

I don't see anything that backs up the claim that it was a conference completely dominated by the Palestine matter.
Edh you are just mirroring Corbyn’s approach to the whole issue by twisting and contorting words. The issue is plain to see as most on here have and your defence only serves to highlight the disgraceful situation

You are seeking to minimise the point by saying the conference wasn’t dominated by the issue. It was still high up on a roster completely absent of any other international issues.

The issue shouldn’t have been on there at all at a time of apparent national crisis. The fact that it had so many more votes for ‘debate’ (What a joke the use of that word is), than social care shows what the priorities of the actual ‘nasty party’ are and how little they truely care for the most vulnerable in society, contrary to Corbyn’s deceitful and disingenuous posturing

You are trying to characterise me as a troll on this forum as an attempt to discredit my point but your words on this topic over the last day or so and the numerous responses from others only serve to show how futule your ongoing attempt to defend Corbyn and his rabble of nasty little racists is.
While you continue with your hyperbole, misrepresentation, smears and lies, I will correct you. I am also surprised you think you have the right to dictate what a party that you oppose should think and what they should do.

just to remind you..

jakesmith said:
...Why do thousands of Labour supporters care so much about Palestine to make it the focus of their conference, exclusively, over and above any other domestic or global issue? A simple question that has never been answered.
I wasn't "minimising", I was challenging this blatant misrepresentation. It appear to be a common tactic of yours, to present your opinion as fact, and then condemn Labour on that basis.

Somehow, I suspect Owen Jones has a rich history of lambasting people for using imprecise or insensitive language..

Dankula became a PH hero....
It's just banter...

He is also the same man who promised to lead "a relentless war against Antisemitism"

A free pass?!
Do people really think like this?!
It is very scary to live in a country where that is the case.
Not from the far right they don't but no one on here ever cares about the far right and its use of Nazi symbolism and hatred of Jews ...
Weird that...
I'd say that people use this as a tool against the left... Despite having a leaning towards the far right / alt right....
Where is the thread for the outrage at islamaphobia and it's link to the Tories and Tommy / UKIP?

Where are these threads from far right posters using nazi symbolism and expressing their hatred of Jews ?
I don’t see any,but I do see ‘far ‘ left defending anti semitism on here (well apparently not anti semitism because it’s only anti Semitic to say ‘kill all the Jews ‘ or similar ,anti semitism is never wrapped up in any other guise is it ?)

The context and key part was

"Not saying either shouldn't BTW, both were shocking moments in history, but strange how some dismiss one whilst getting behind another...."

Both the Jews and Black people have been treated over history far far worse than any White English people....
But on here there is far more support for taking a stand agaisnt antisemitism, than racism (against black people) or Islamophobia.

I just find it odd....
In the context of this section of the forum the only area no one steps into is antisemitism (but support for the alt right is very much evident) and yet Islamophobia is encouraged...

I personally am against both....not just one...
I may mean i don't fit in around here, but it is what it is...

Yes all those lovely white people living in Downton Abbey looking after their "servants" . The White people of this Country haven't always had it so good . They have been enslaved ,butchered ,downtrodden and had a life expectancy and infant mortality that would by any standard be appalling. Its incredible how many people have no idea of how the ordinary people of this Country have fared over History.

Exactly. The poor masses had a miserable time and were abused and downtrodden. I remind my brother-in-law of this when he (a Scot) goes on about how the English opressed the Scots. The English peasants were as opressed as the Scots peasants both by the 'aristocracy' and ruling classes. It's simply that the Scots had someone to focus their ire on but the English could hardly curse -- the English! My mother and her siblings were put in Barnardo's when their mother could no longer keep them due to poverty and ill health. This was in Clerkenwell in London in the early 20th century, not some dark Victorian era. The squalor that ordinary people endured is beyond the understanding of those who bang on about 'child-poverty' (isn't that a lovely emotive term?) in the 21st century. They have no idea.

Apparently History only started in 1997 for the young socialist luvvies. Life expectancy of around 35, 200 or so years ago because infant mortality was horrendous. People who worked on estates lived and died on them and could not marry or leave without the owners permission but we don't call them "slaves". Its also worth looking at the manifest lists of offenders sent out to Australia for incredibly trivial offences so yeah the White man has had it good in this Country as long as you were titled or a land owner.

Or as recent as the 1970's
