That is a big venue and if you look how they have put in blocks of seat with big spaces all around to make it look full.

I thought Jezza was a babe magnet. The babes I have seen on TV have not been babes for probably more than 40 years. I thought it was the Tories that attracted women over 50 it looks like some have gone over the wall. Not many young things at Conference today

Just watching Labour MPs, speakers and commentators on Politics Live. I don't think I've ever heard such a bunch of confused, contradictory, disorganised and useless s in all my life.

All of them saying the party is 'united' and then going on to completely disagree with each other.

If this lot get in, we are seriously fked. Seriously.

Not sure if the conference is in Liverpool, or Gaza?

You'd most likely have a more civil and more productive conversation about Israel/Palestine with someone living in Gaza than with a member of the Labour party. To the former, it's about getting peace. To the latter, it's just a cheap soundbite.

Plus, they have a real nerve calling it a 'debate'. In any other part of the world, a debate is about giving two sides an equal chance to put forward their argument. Labour's idea of a debate is to cement their hatred

I've got the conference on at the moment and I just heard someone get up and ask fellow delegates to stop being "uncomradely" to each other, whatever that means!

If only they put 1/100th of the effort into fighting other injustices around the world. Do they honestly think this kind of display will win over the average floating voter?

Think ?

Think !

You seem to be implying there is a thought process to their actions. Since when has anything the current labour crop does involve a thought out set of plans ?

The Conservatives constantly get hammered because of the "blue rinse brigade" what the hell most of the Labour delegates I have seen in Liverpool are all owners of a free Bus pass.

I wonder where on the list of problems to show support for, dealing with anti-Semitism is.

Over 60 % of Labour MP's represent Brexit Voters. I can't remember one mention of this fact by Labour they have totally dismissed them.
What if rather than Voting Labour they decided not to vote. They have a view that only Party members are worthy of any consideration giving the finger to millions of Labour voters who want to leave.

What a terrible bunch of old tossers they look like. Not a single young face or half normal looking person amongst them.

My highlight of the coverage so far has been a mid 60s middle class lady from Hastings named Millicent, addressing the audience as "comrades"

It's about as natural as Teresa May saying "I'm gonna school dem muthafkers" as she enters an EU summit

It's fascinating too see a group so wrapped up in their own beliefs, their own echo chamber and so remote from their core vote. They seem unable to see that the average person in this country is not really that bothered about Palestine.

Momentum, JC and the assorted hangers on seem convinced that they would win an election should one be called in the near future. I honestly believe that they would get a bit of a drubbing at the ballot boxes. The fall-out would be amusing to witness... after all, Jeremy is right. About everything. There can be no doubting this.

I've always believed that the best way to lose a fight is to weigh in thinking you are bound to win.

Would you believe it, the lifelong anti-racism campaigner has, in yet another case of incredibly bad luck, been photographed with someone who thinks holocaust denial should be free speech and previously described Jews as having “a reputation for being sleazy thieves”.
