Not wanting to sound like the tin foil hate brigade, but this story currently leads the Guardian, Times and Telegraph, yet the BBC are very quiet on this?
R4 The World Tonight has an extensive interview with someone defending Corbyn about the wreath laying hoohaa, the whataboutery is kneedeep. The standout was him pointing out that JC was standing by the grave side with his hands in his pockets, and that this shows how little respect he had for the dead. As eni fule kno JC shows disrespect for the dead by arriving late at memorial services and making phone calls.

Newsnight did the most quiet, neutral muted 2 minute commentary on this and were trying so hard not to offer an opinion.

Now he's accused Benjamin Netenyahu of being a liar and gone off on another rant about Israel killing children.

I suppose JC's never mentioned hamas et al deliberate targeting of civilians rolleyes
The points scoring is now getting pretty low - who would vote for any of this shower is beyond me.

Because he could have simply said he didn’t like the burqa but decided instead to take the piss out of those women who are likely some of the least able to defend themselves and wear it under duress.

Smacks of piss taking racism.
I understand that this may confuse you, but Islam is a religion, not a race.

It seems you are doing the fashionable thing amongst the left of just shouting racist at people you dislike.

It no longer works to shut down debate, I’m afraid, you are going to have to try to form an argument instead.

My point is that he was the guy who was pilloried for criticising Denmark for banning the burka.
He was, and his view there is consistent with his view now that he doesn’t want it banned.

His comments were absolutely in line with mainstream left and right thinking on the issue, that the burka is problematic and that it should not be banned.

Things that are now a race...

The clothes you wear
The fairy stories you believe in
Your choice of home (caravan)
The country you live in
Membership of an economic union
What race you are

Any others I've missed?

You could generalise with "the thing that makes you different that you can't defend with rational argument".

BBC seem very reluctant to get into this.
I wonder if anyone has asked Corbyn in his 30 plus years as a peacemaker what success has he had.

We still need to commemorate all victims of terrorism, starting with the driver of that car.

Does he drive? Presumably, If he does, it’s a left hand drive vehicle?

Just to balance the foil hat brigade, Radio 5 gave him a good kicking this morning.

Yet around 30 minutes ago they had two youngsters on. The one who was critical barely got a word in while the presenter let the one supporting JC rant away and shout over the other fella.

Even the missus who doesn't bother with this bks said it was ridiculous.

Regardless, he needs to go as it's a worldwide embarressment now, but he needs to stay because he's unelectable pretty much and until the Tories get their st together, they need the opposition in chaos.

The person on R4 this morning was pretty robust with a Labour MP trying to defend Mr Corbyn.
