To refuse them because you don't understand the biology behind them seems completely insane.
Shame there's not a vaccine for that.
You cannot vaccinate against stupidity.

The biology is simple and the empirical evidence is conclusive.

One, more or all of the gods will protect you because she/they had the MMR vaccine.

https://mavenroundtable.io/theintellectualist/athe...

What makes this scary is the thought that this woman runs a wellness 'clinic' where, if you catch any of the diseases you could have protected yourself from, you can go after infecting lots of other potential customers. All you need, I suppose, is money to pay for the 'clinic'.

I've read some of this thread - it's too depressing to read it all - and there's some chap who stuck pins in his dog. I mean, I'm not adverse to weird, but he should stay off the magic mushrooms. Why punish a dog?

A few years ago I read some chap who gave criteria for a society's collapse. He didn't mention brexit, many on here will be pleased to note, but there was a significant pointer of people eschewing the bleedin' obvious. If I see four horsemen, I hope they are merely sticking pins in their steeds rather than heralding the apocalypse.

We don't know everything. Scientists don't even claim to know everything, but that's no reason to doubt the things we know.

When the erroneous report was published there was some excuse for parents to be concerned and one could, perhaps, forgive them but not now. (We cannot forgive the editor of the Lancet nor that of Private Eye.) There is a higher percentage of people in the USA who believe that the world is less than 6000 years old than think MMR causes autism. So even some of the religious nutters have limits to their stupidity it seems.

Surely this is a self inflicted, very stupid, form of natural selection?

Almost definitely entirely unrelated to this fact is that my 14 month old daughter had a complete meltdown of similar proportions at 5.30am on Sunday morning because I wouldn't let her eat the cat food that she spilled on the floor.
You monster. We had a massive meltdown from a 20 month old because I had the temerity to get her dressed this morning, depriving her of her favourite pyjamas.
Amateurs.

Try taking Peppa Pig away on the TV before bedtime. I actually checked if the gun cupboard was locked and keys hidden.wouldve been a bit of a task for her to get at them (at 2 years old) security gate, basement, code only known to me, separate cabinets for both ammo, bolts and recievers......

But still.....

I was watching that look in her eye that clearly said....

Ok Daddy, no Peppers? Im gonna fk you up.....

Here is the orignal paper that was published.

http://briandeer.com/mmr/lancet-paper.pdf

It wasn't even a study looking at mmr and autism.

Ones i can deal with:

Blaze and the monster machines. It's awful, BUT laddo has a decent concept of physics on the back of it.
Baby jake. Criminally creepy but in a soft cuddly way.
Octonauts
The 70's environmental one with ubercorn and clickons. Geographic!
Hey dugee
thomas the tank
Old postman pat
The one where the bloke grows things

On the fence:
Paw patrol
Fireman sam

Ones i can't deal with:
Bing
Mr tumble
Something special
Justins house
Shimmer and shine
Modern postman pat

Pat is an enigma. Modern pat delivers a damaged parcel late, using the maximum resource in the process. Modern pat is the epitome of the failures of public sector delivery. Ironically made by public sector funding.

Indeed. Heres an analysis of bing...

https://www.denofgeek.com/uk/tv/bing/51208/cbeebie...

fked up man,fked up.

And theres more.....

The downright dark explanation

But the most inventive – and terrifying – piece of headcanon has to go to a commenter on the popular #cbeebiesdarkthoughts topic named Abigail – who posited that “Flop is a figment of Bing’s imagination, created in his mind as a coping mechanism after all the grown-ups died from The Virus”. Which as far as 'dark thoughts' go is pretty much up there with the idea that Baby Jake’s oldest sister is actually his secret mother.

On a point of diplomacy, I think that:

Sarah and duck offers a strong female role model with accompanying «canard» providing a balance in understanding a complex world.
Hey Duggee provides strong inter-species collaboration towards a common goal; serving the almighty Dugee's craving for badges.

I agree.

Whilst Sarah is female, the Duck (Whilst not specific, the general understanding is that Ducks are male (Drakes), hens are female)represents a lost brother in childhood and Duck is an ideolisation of a brother, hence whilstSarah is boss, she always defers to the Duck. But is trying to understand her loss because she feels that if she disagrees, he will be lost again.
Dugees just a .

I read today that the number of pet owners in the US who are having their animals vaccinated has diminished due to fears over autism.( This must be true because I read it on Facebook).
