The Capri episode has so many factual innacuracies in it such as 'only three litre Capris had the bonnet bulge'. True if it were a Mk1, but this car is a Mk2. And how about 'In the UK the 2.8 engine had one exhaust port per piston' Really???

Oh, and apparently this is the first Ford Capri Wheeler Dealers have done. Hmm, what about the green one with the poorly painted rattle can front wing from series one then?

This program has sunk to a new low.

I reckon they're probably hoping all the current viewers have never seen the really early episodes hehe

Based on the continuous syndication schedules on Quest i don't think Discovery Network want to be reminded of the first few original series (including the ones where Brewer ran a garage & Ed fixed up "customers" cars) hehe

Whenever they finish with the more recent episodes on Quest they always go back and start from Series 5 - thus cutting off the early cars with the questionable bodges sorry i meant quick & easy budget fixes hehe Such as the 205 GTI with the smoke billowing out of the exhaust on the drive back to the workshop that was cured by changing the main gear linkage iirc & using black spray paint to re-colour a parcel shelf hehe

T5 episode was OK but nothing special. They hardly did anything to it though which was disappointing.

I know it a Velocity funded show now so it's done 'their' way with the US bias etc, such a shame that the original UK based format has gone.

I don't think it's been announced yet, last time I think it was 3 or 4 months after the US. A lot of the Discovery Car stuff sits in the same Monday 9pm slot, so we've got a couple of week of 'Shifting Gears' left (anyone still watch it?) and then I'd guess another 6 weeks of Fast n' Loud.

Inaccuracies are part of the charm of Wheeler Dealers by now ha ha. I remember one of the really, really early ones - Mike started out by saying words to the effect of "this mk1 golf isn't the last of them Campaign models" then fitted some door lock pins (and the side decals upside down) and sold it as a "Campaign".

Just curious if anyone knows where the Capri episode was test-driven? Some sort of ghost town?

By "Spoiler Alert" I thought you meant that Mike Brewer was still involved.
