Doubt mbs will ever face any sort of justice but will be forever damned on the world stage like the ring leader of a sex offender gang that got off on a technicality...

This doesn't show the Saudi government in a good light.

Killing a low level journo isn't the issue.

1. It's the fact they did it so badly
2. Covered it up badly
3. Covered up the coverup badly
4. Mishandled the cover ups, cover up
5. Haven't come clean and just fessed up.

Shockingly poor all round really.
Agreed, am not surprised that they bumped one of their own off, I am more surprised at the sheer incompetence of this bunch and the recent russian assassins.

Not exactly Mossad are they?
They've never had to be, they've been offing dissidents since forever.

I imagine they didn't expect the Turks to have quite the level of evidence they do, it was inside their own consulate after all.

Additionally, they didn't anticipate his Mrs waiting outside in the car to raise it immediately.

Without these two events it'd be "nope, he left" and a stonewall of denials which would go nowhere.

Turkey is the real mastermind on this one, playing them like a fiddle. Question is, why?

Why. Turkey has always wanted to exert influence and be seen as relevant in the ME. Plenty of investment in Turkey from the region. Turkey not happy with SA cosying up to US.

Not being reported elsewhere (yet) ... it would be spectacularly bad news for SA, them having claimed they gave the intact corpse to a 'local co-operator' and dont know anything more.

Sky also reporting it.

Istanbul Police have apparently since denied it.

I’ve worked in both Israel and the Middle East (Bahrain , Dubai, Kuwait )

The difference in commercial skills, education, general intelligence and work ethic is immense.

Israel is light years ahead of most Arab countries - but they don’t have oil wealth. ( also arguably the only real democracy in the region )

Bloody hell they brought his son to the palace to meet the King and the Prince so they could offer their condolences. Just how sick are these people.

You need to spend time in and around the Gulf States to realise what they're like, and what they'd be like if they thought they could get away with everything.

Apparently found in consulate well in garden.

The fingers however were apparently rendered and presented as a mission accomplished souvenir to the Prince back in Saudi Arabia.

Quite sickening insight into KSA...

"The Wall" mentality is everywhere. These are mental walls (in every sense of the word mental) as opposed to bricks and mortar.
