Apt it’s you posting this Wacky,
My happiest day was when City won the league in extra time on the last day of the season.
Never enjoyed the hour queue to get out of the car park as much as I did that day smile
Oh and getting married was pretty special as well. Birth of the kids was to stressful really.

Mine was probably making the long trek to Newcastle as a schoolboy watching City beat Newcastle 4-3 to clinch the (old) first division championship in May 1968. Still remember it like yesterday.

Thank you, yes.

It's a distant memory now, but I remember my parents being very, very, emotional, I was only 22 at the time.

Thank you NHS

This sounds soppy as fk but life is full of them with a child.

It can be the little things, the funny things, the heartbreakingly touching things or even just the knackered end of the day when you’ve just spent 12 hours entertaining them.

Watching Hazard score against Spurs that meant Leicester City won the league is one of my standout moments, followed by my son being born etc etc...

But seriously I agree with the above, kid stuff sticks in my head the most. Watching my son training at Real Madrid's training ground was a dust in the eye moment. He's not THAT talented, just a trip his academy arranged, but an amazing thing for me to watch that he just took in his stride.

Proud dad!

Here's a bunch from me.
Climbing 'Dream of White Horses' and 'Main Wall' in one weekend. It's hard to pick 1 weekend as my climbing time was full of wonderful memories, but this was a special one. Of all the things I've done, rock climbing has produced the most special moments, and some of my outstanding memories.
First soaring glider flight.
Skiing untrammeled off piste powder snow in the French Alps.
Getting married is up there, as well as the Honeymoon, climbing in the Dolomites.
One of my boys holding my hand when he was very young, about 2 yrs old I guess. He only just made it to that age, so that was a bit special.

I don't know if I'm a bit odd in that most of my outstanding memories have occurred using an individual piece of skill or commitment. Very few extra special moments have involved teams, or more than 1 other person.

I was pleased for them, now I hate the whole cardboard clapper thing that the tinpot clubs need to get noise!

Wedding day I guess, only time all my closest friends and family have been in the same place at the same time having fun. Weather was perfect, everything ran smoothly and we were in the middle of a safari park. Great to see all the kids so excited for the 4 days we were there.

Not one for parties generally but was just a great day all round, the actual getting married bit was quite good too.

Was the birth of my daughter (bit boring of answer i know)

It was at the end of a fairly traumatic 30+ hour delivery with forceps and mum was too shattered to stay awake. After all the team had left i was sat holding my daughter whilst she looked up and wondered what this strange new world was. No crying just a bruised face and beautiful eyes lookjng up at me slightly bewildered. I could have sat there all day and It was the best 30 minutes of my life. Phone was turned off and we just sat there in silence with the only interuptions being the midwife bobbing in and out occasionally.

Out of all the memories ive gained in the 33 years ive been alive thats the happiest and most vivid of the lot of them. Was a different story when my son was born he just screamed the place down for an hour and fell asleep.

19/5/2012, Chelsea winning the Champions League.

Birth of my sons and wedding day were great, but I kind of expected one day I'd get married and have kids. Watching Chelsea thru the 70s and 80s, getting thrashed by Rotherham & Grimsby, I could never have imagined we'd become European champions.

More recently, going to see Boca Juniors v River Plate at the Bombonera last month with my eldest son was pretty cool.
