Clearly they don't, but stick with me here.

For the past 2 days my ride to and from work has quite simply been awesome. Awesome if you ignore the grouse incident yesterday of course.

I'm lucky enough to have a 70 mile commute to work along some of the better roads the UK has to offer, namely the B1257 (Helmsley TT)
Yeah there had been a bit of mist, a few damp patches here and there and even a bit rain. But mostly it has been dry.

It's almost as if the bikes know we are in our last days of fairly predictable roads and it wraps it's arms around you and say' s 'Don't you worry, We've got this' Its feels like it's summonsed up another 30bhp that it never had before. The tyres giving every bit of grip they can muster, throttle response smoother than your best mates wife's buttcheeks and it just steers and goes exactly where you want it.

It happens on their very last rides as well. The day you trade it in and ride it to the bike shop, it does exactly the same again. Either as a thank you for all those good times out riding, or as a 'See what you're missing. Do.you see how good a bike I really am'

They know.
I'm sure they know.
