Papadopolous has just been released from prison and is now being investigated again in his part int he russian conenctions

He only pled guilty. He didn't cooperate. Now that he's a felon, his next prison sentence for the same type of offense will be 15 yrs with no parole.

Instant three-time loser? Go to jail, don't pass go, we'll take any dirty money you accumulated. This end of the thing is definitely living up to the epithet 'stupid watergate'.
Can’t tell if this is a spoof account. Doesn’t appear to be though? confused I’m guessing it’s just an example of ‘this is america’ laugh

Nope not a spoof - it was one of the first things he announced...
mind you - he's also saying he has a book coming...

One of the things with George, is his wife. Suspicious how they met, who she is and how she winds him up to say things, proclaiming his innocence, when there's so much known about his actions.

A federal judge in Texas has struck down the Affordable Care Act, waiting until the night before the end of enrolement

The court's decision is NOT limited to guaranteed issue and community rating. In the court's view, the entire Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional.
Procedurally, however, the court has not granted an injunction. He has instead treated the red states' motion for a preliminary injunction as a request for summary judgment, which means that heads immediately to appeal?

This is the same judge who struck down the Indian Child Welfare Act a few months ago.

The court was specifically requested to wait until after Saturday to rule in order to avoid disrupting open enrollment. O’Connor then issued his decision Friday night nevertheless

I worked on every open enrollment under Obama. The biggest driver of enrollment is the deadline, and the biggest enrollment days are right before it. It’s not trolling, it’s deliberate judicial sabotage of a duly passed law and in a legitimate system he’d be tossed off the bench.

Sen. Feinstein: “This absurd decision defies the law as written and Supreme Court precedent. Unable to repeal the Affordable Care Act in Congress, Republicans have turned to conservative judges to try and do the job.”

Friends don't let friends go uninsured. If you still need health insurance for 2019, tomorrow, December 15th, is the last day to get it through http://HealthCare.gov . This is about your health and peace of mind for you and your loved ones — there's nothing more important.

U.S. prosecutors on Friday asked a federal judge for permission to move Maria Butina from jail, including potentially to testify before a grand jury, in a sealed filing apparently made public by mistake.

Mick Mulvanay named acting chief of staff.

His endearing motto is you have to pay to play...
He went there for a budget meeting with trump, walked out with a promotion. Apparently trump was deeply frustrated at the rejections and the media narrative that no one of high stature wanted to be his chief of staff,so he decided suddenly on Friday afternoon to promote Mick Mulvaney.

That secret Mueller court hearing. Someone is fighting against a subpoena

CNN saw Zainab Ahmad and Michael Dreeben return in car to SCO office shortly after mystery grand jury witness arguments wrapped.
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/12/14/politics/muelle...

Zainab N. Ahmad is a prosecutor with the United States Department of Justice who specializes in investigating and prosecuting terrorism, and money laundering prosecutor with a Middle Eastern specialty
Michael R. Dreeben is the Deputy Solicitor General in charge of the U.S. DoJ criminal docket before the United States Supreme

Zainab Ahmad has sucessfully prosecuted 13 terrorist cases, was part of the Manafort prosecution that was successful. She's a fluent arabic speaker

Here's a little more on her

Based on the above - my money is on Jared Kushner

Mueller target Jerome Corsi raised $25K to pay for cancer treatment. One problem: the doctor Corsi claimed would get the money doesn't actually exist.

You're probably right but I'm kinda hoping it's going to be Pence.

If I've understood the rumor mill correctly then Pence was a Manafort pick and this seems to be the route through which Russian influence was operating. That decision may be as simple as Pence being a weak character who wouldn't ask difficult questions, however no matter how hard Pence tries to look the other way I'll bet he's sharp enough to spot which closet Meuller should go skeleton hunting in, which would be useful as Trump seems to have more of a walk in wardrobe with its own well staffed skeleton housing department.

As we move on from the swamp of financial crimes to the collusion bit of the investigation I imagine Pence is going to be a big stepping stone on the road to Trump.

Manafort picked Pence, some say his russian handler suggested it. He was head of the transition team whilst Manafort, Flynn, kushner, Donald Jr were all establishing back channels with the russians.

It could be that Mueller thinks trumps family are too heavily involved over the years with the money laundering, won't flip or he doesn't want them too, just wants them charged. Pence has only 3 years into team trump.

But then why an arabic speaking prosecutor. Pence hasn't been involved in the middle east - Kushner is heavily involved.

Adam Schiff says that the House Intelligence Committee is going to be looking at the issue of possible money laundering by the Trump Organization. "And Deutsche Bank is one obvious place to start,” Schiff added.

Adam Schiff plans to conduct an investigation parallel to Mueller's, probing Trump's connections to Russia, Saudi Arabia, and other places. "It became clear that he wasn't just planning to cross Trump's red line—he intended to obliterate it."

"The American people have a right to know that their President is working on their behalf, not his family's financial interests," Adam Schiff said. "Right now, I don't think any of us can have the confidence that that’s the case."

Thats true.
Its hard to remember another cabinet secretary who racked up 17 federal investigations into his conduct in two years, a possibly unmatched accomplishment, beating Pruits record of 16

So he said immigration makes America “poorer, and dirtier, and more divided.”

The Washington post with a piece on when, not if and based on how he's failed to cope so far, how trump will be overwhelmed when all the many investigations against him start bring charges.

President Trump’s inability to respond to one charge emanating from one witness, a charge not even within the purview of the special counsel, suggests he will be entirely overwhelmed when the closet full of shoes starts dropping. He never knew about the payments, or he did, or it was Michael Cohen’s fault, or it wasn’t a crime, or if it was a crime it was no big deal. This might be the most inept response to allegations of presidential wrongdoing ever.

Wow, 19,000 Texts between Lisa Page and her lover, Peter S of the FBI, in charge of the Russia Hoax, were just reported as being wiped clean and gone. Such a big story that will never be covered by the Fake News.

It won't be covered because it's fake news from the donald. Those texts were recovered. Assistant AG Stephen Boyd, a Trump appointee, attributed it to “misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades.”
https://oig.justice.gov/reports/2018/i-2018-003523...

Nothing of substance was reported on Strzok and Page’s DOJ-issued iphones when they were checked back in by Mueller’s team, the report says. They were then sent back to DOJ, reset, and reissued in the ordinary course. No one has discovered a scandal to write about in this report.

That doesn't stop trump trying to rile up his base - because the st is hitting the fan for him

I served with Ryan Zinke in Congress. He had a bright future.

But then he entered the world of @realDonaldTrump, and allowed its corrupting influence to destroy his reputation. Zinke is now facing multiple investigations and mounting legal bills. Sad.
