Turns out he had to do that as the White House catering staff are all at home with no pay.

However that all sat on the table, getting cold, whilst trump paraded in front of it, trying to show what a generous host he is.
Cold fast food is horrible.

Edit: They lit candles, candles and gold everywhere...

Edit: House Republican leaders have removed Steve King from the Judiciary and Agriculture Committees over King's white supremacy remark,

Ivanka Trump, the president’s eldest daughter and senior adviser, will play a role in helping to select the next head of the World Bank, the White House said Monday.

Ms. Trump, who had been rumored to be a contender for the position herself, will not be a candidate, a Trump administration official said. But she will assist the Treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin, and the acting White House chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, in choosing a successor to Jim Yong Kim, the current president of the World Bank who announced last week he would be stepping down.

Sorry - who said trump has no impact on things outside the US?

Dems have warned trump about his witness intimidation
https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/0...

In a joint statement, Reps. Elijah Cummings, Adam Schiff and Jerrold Nadler warned Trump against efforts to “discourage, intimidate or otherwise pressure” his former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, who has agreed to publicly testify Feb. 7 before the House Oversight Committee.

Yesterday was reported more collusion, how Putin told trump to coverup the trump tower meeting saying it was about adoptions.

Trump met privately with Putin and immediately seized the meeting notes, then had another private conversation with him at dinner 'for about 15 minutes'

trump told a NY Times reporter later "Actually, it was very interesting,” Trump added, “we talked about adoptions. ... We talked about Russian adoption. Yeah. I always found that interesting. Because, you know, he ended that years ago. And I actually talked about Russian adoption with him, which is interesting because it was a part of the conversation that Don [Jr.] had in that meeting.”

The Washington Post laid out the timelines, which rather makes it look like Putin told trump how to respond about their sanctions and Clinton dirt hacks meeting, which trump dictated on the plane back...

Some leader - holed up in the White House feasting on a banquet of fast food while 800,000 federal employees go without pay for the best part of a month? The U.S. is totally broken.

Yep, a furlough he’s created due to his inability to negotiate with Mexico. “Art of the Deal” (helped by daddy’s money)

No way Trump paid for that out of his own pocket like he claims.

Plus, doesn't he own hotels nearby who could've catered the event? He could even have made a profit on it that way...

Also I expected the farmers at the recent meeting to be furious with Trump after his sanctions have ruined them, but I've not seen any reaction from them.
