You're entirely right. There are some people who seem determined to see this entirely from their own point of view.
People can watch the original YT link I posted and judge for themselves whether the media portrayal of events was accurate as there is ample video material from multiple sources and angles, from which to form an objective opinion and not one skewed by a failed attempt to make it fit into a tired and overused narrative.

But what's really instructive about this matter is the utter inability of the SJW tendency to admit that their narrative was quite simply, verifiably wrong ... Can't have the 'oppressors' actually being the ones who were wronged, can we? Who cares about objective reality anyway when you have such a tidy curated story going on in your head, eh?

You'd condemn the above as victim shaming / abuse, yes?
It's pretty reprehensible whether it's Trump or SJWs doing it. Unfortunately, SJWs don't accept when they behave as badly as their personal antichrist. Pretty much textbook 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' , which is why those of us with a brain and the ability to think critically with it find PC puritans so amusing. Trump has good comedy factor too but mostly because he's a massive s--t stirrer.

Absolutely nothing there relating to the Covington kids and the events that hit the media.

The more you try to defend what happened with the misreporting and misrepresentation of events surrounding the 'MAGA teens' (in this case by doing the internet equivalent of flailing your arms and going 'but what about....') , the worse you look.

Just be a decent human being and admit that the kids were the victims of extremely poor news reporting and prejudice on the part of pundits desperately trying to score political points. Lots of people who made snap judgements based on a bunch of lies and spin have had the common decency to revise their position. But it seems that being exposed as wrong just has flipped a switch in a special kind of person.

What with the Buzzfeed debacle and this happening a day or two apart, this may well be a turning point in how the general public view the media and the extremely vocal minority of PC zealots. Not before time (Buzzfeed doubling down too - quelle surprise!).
I can understand why all the "activists" on that day acted as they did. That doesn't mean I agree with them.

I can't really understand why such a school would allow their students to get involved and act the way they did. Unless of course said school is a breeding ground for s.

And given whats going in with "news" in America a few protesting rich kids getting the stty end of the stick isn't really the end of the world, is it?

As far as I can see, the black guys abusing the kids were being complete dicks.

The kids were being complete dicks.

The Native American guy wasn't being a complete dick. In fact he seemed like the only person not doing something wrong in this whole sorry charade.

That said, the adults (namely the black protestors and the chaperones of the kids) should all have known better. The kids are teenagers and therefore have a predisposition to behaving like tools.

I don't understand why it's hard for people to hold the view that more than one party can be behaving in a dickish manner simultaneously.

In an effort to be balanced I think it's correct that the narrative on this was questioned.

As soon as the SJW label comes out though...

Kids were being annoying kids.
Homophobic racist group were being racist homophobes.
Native American dude seems to have grasped the wrong end of the stick and got all self-righteous on the kids.
Media has a narrative and tried to make the story fit that narrative.
SJW types can't accept that the narrative didn't fit their dogmatic outlook and if anything was reversed in this case.

The Supreme Court takes no action on DACA appeal, almost certainly meaning it won’t hear the Trump administration’s appeal this term.

The Supreme Court once again devalued Trump's offer on his DACA-for-wall deal by not taking up the DACA review. That means the lower court's decision to keep DACA in place extends without Trump's deal.

The boys were on a school trip to an anti abortion rally! Nothing about this is normal.

Catholic school AIUI so understandable in that context. The americans have very strong (and very polarised) views on abortion.

Have you seen your post count in this thread? You are the one showing signs of hysteria.

Unfortunately the closure of the TR thread has attracted his supporters to this one, I find it best to ignore them. After a few hours they’ll get bored - especially if you don’t bite - and move on.
