I appreciate that there are very few unbiased sources. Fox News however, is beyond biased. They are a full-on propaganda channel. There's a reason they've been banned in the UK.
#FakeNewsFox News isn't banned in the UK.
Officially, Murdoch pulled it. Which was completely unrelated to the 21CF proposed acquisition of Sky. Completely.

It's the same with all the cable news channels in the US - Fox is the Republicans outlet, the rest are Democrat mouthpieces.
Judicial Watch is probably the only source I really pay attention to as they get their info via FOI requests.

Founded in 1994, JW has primarily targeted Democrats--in particular, the Clinton administration, the Obama administration, and Hillary Clinton--although it has sued Republicans as well.
Which pretty much explains you're posting history.
Time for another NAtional Emergency - not much has happened on the wall since that became one...
Sen. Chris Murphy is warning that the Trump admin is considering a move to bypass Congress and push through the sale of bombs to Saudi Arabia by declaring a national emergency.

Sorry for the drastic snip, but, How many other supposedly non-biased, non-partisan outfits does Trump promote?

I would say that even Fox gets caught out by Trump's inanity on occasions. And they do have a couple of presenters who are, let's say, not Total Trump Supporters.
Fox is split into News / Opinion. The Fox News folks generally right leaning, but normally pretty good covering stories and will pull up the GOP on lots of issues. Fox & Friends, Tucker, Ingram, Hannity etc are opinion and basically Trump supporters and peddle the Russia Hoax, and generally any conspiracy against the Dems.

Someone has to play devil's advocate, otherwise you might as well rename the thread "The Trump Hate Thread", because that's basically what it's become.I predict that Trump will still be in office in 2020, and will win the next election if he runs again.

It's a strange combination. They have some decent journalists and reporters working for them but some frankly insane hosts.Fox & Friends, Tucker, Ingram, Hannity etc are opinion and basically Trump supporters and peddle the Russia Hoax, and generally any conspiracy against the Dems.

For what it's worth I agree with you.I am really interested to hear the positive reason why people would support him though.
So advocate for what he is rather than what he isn't
Low taxes I understand - give him a tick for that I suppose.
Reduce illegal immigration - ok fair enough.
Anything else?
And the pretty obviously grubby stuff such a porn stars etc - how does that not register with his base? Do they genuinely not care about it whilst at the same time being militantly Christian?

Nope-only the trump supporters think that, the rest of us are simply discussing what he does/doesn't do and the subsequent results from this.desolate said:

He lowered taxes for the 1% and massively increased the deficit as a result. You can't just lower taxes without lowering spending... otherwise... debt.Reduce illegal immigration - ok fair enough.
Illegal immigration is keeping prices down (think cheap labour) so again, while strong borders makes a good sound bite the unintended consequences can be a problem.
I think the main one I am in favour of is the bipartisan prison reform he got passed. And the bump stock ban (just too little too late...).

I got talking to a colleague who's a big pro-Trump guy a week or so back over a few beers. He basically said he thought Trump as an individual sucked but that he was very happy with his policy stance (lower taxes, get rid of Obamacare, anything basically anti-Democrat). Seemingly the character of the man is not that important to him in the grand scheme of things. That made me curious. Wasn't he concerned at all about the precedent being set in terms of ignoring the consitution and pushing to have pretty much no oversight from the other branches of goverment - especially if the next President ends up being a Democrat? His position was that this wasn't happening at all! In fact, he cited lots of examples he considered to be comparable from when Obama was in power (for example Eric Holder being held in contempt, like Barr). The problem for me was that there was orders of magnitudes of difference between the two sets of conduct. He was having none of it.
The "whataboutism" is very strong when asking for the President to be held accountable for his actions, and he's far from the first person I've spoken to that views it that way. It's hard to see those partisan lines being easily split. I suspect the independents that vote against Trump next time but voted for him in 2016 will be the ones that have basically concluded he's a bit of a tt. Otherwise, an "I'm alright Jack" attitude seems to abound.

Trump ran on a right wing platform, but that he was a businessman and could fix the US. He also made alot of promises that he hasn't delivered on. Also people are seeing what a crook he is, and only looking after himself which has put a lot of people off.

I think I had missed just how far entrenched some people are in being so pro-Trump/Republican and using it to define everything about their life. Or rather, how proudly anti-Democrat they are.
Small case in point, a little mobile app game I play called "Golf Clash" is pretty much what you expect. A golf game on your mobile. Part of the game, if you want, is you can organise yourself into teams and the team performance can give you little boosts in the game. Most of them are just silly names = "Balls of Love" I am in, but there's all the usual plus thousands of others, given how popular the game is.
But, there I was when a player from the "No Democrats" team was pitched against me. "We proudly stand against the democrats and all they stand for and Make America Great Again"
In a mobile app game that you play on the toilet.
Bizarre.
No doubt they all sit there trying to emulate their glorious leader but I don't think the game app lets you post the score you want to get, only the score you actually get.
