After reading page after page of what people don't like about the EU I thought it would be interesting to hear what people are expecting from Brexit, e.g. What laws people will want to be changed, what sort of trade deals to expect, all the good things that people are looking forward to.

personally i would like to see leaving the eu as just the beginning. i don't think i am alone in that. my views are we should look to be a business friendly country (more so than we already are compared to say france) .every facet of life that business relies on to do well needs looking at, from energy costs, basic infrastructure and rules we can set on our own to provide long term confidence that should things improve greatly they won't be hit in the pocket or require less than transparent accounting to succeed.
start by incentives where if rules are met corp tax decreases on a sliding scale to zero. first decrease would come when no employees of the company require government top ups to wages. the rest of the decrease would come based on highest to lowest wage ratio. i would also make all redundancy schemes the same for everyone from the cleaner to the ceo. no more negotiating golden hand shakes for piss poor performance, particularly for public servants.
simplify the tax rules. one earnings account for everyone taxed at a fixed rate. no more national insurance, it all goes the same way anyway. this should free up thousands of people to move to sectors that generate wealth, not administer and detract from it.
the sectors responsible for national infrastructure put on notice to get their s
t together or else.uk energy and water supply should not be in the hands of people that do not have the best interests of the nation as their first concern.
remember that bonfire of the quangos the quitter promised some years ago ? get on with it, no more empire builders or rules makers that can't be held to account.
increase the education budget with a concentrated focus on stem subjects, getting classes down to manageable sizes and training teachers properly. the success or failure of the education system is the single most important factor in the success of any country.
i would also scrap the devolved parliaments, move parliament out of london to as near the geographical centre of the country as possible with purpose built accommodation and have a proper pay review for mp's that might help with attracting better candidates. limit the amount of mp's to 600 and a serious revamp of the local authority system.
now for the wishful thinking part. put someone in charge of the national broadcaster that understands the need to fairly represent the entire country.
