Rumours that before pulling out Phil shouted “watch this” have been exaggerated.

PH jury bit slow tonight, I would have expected the verdict to have been posted by now
I made a suggestion on here recently that elderly drivers were often not as competent as younger drivers. Turned out I was wrong - elderly drivers are much better drivers. PH told me. smile

Interesting in that looking at recent-ish photos, the RR doesn't seem to have armoured glass (at least it doesn't look much thicker). Do heavy duty armoured vehicles even have opening windows?

Got to ask is it a good idea having 98 year olds driving about?

It's not like he would be stuck in on his own needing to call the ring and ride up for a lift.

What is the betting that he confused the throttle with the brake?

Can’t believe a Uno would have enough mass to topple a Rangie over, especially with the weight of the newer ones, unless it was really seriously tanking on.

I hope he and the other travellers are OK.

Why isn't this thread called Prince Philip? I ignored it till I saw on the news he'd had a crash.
