Police response to domestic burglary

Only anecdotal I know, but our neighbour was burgled 2 weeks ago.

I was not expecting much response, but they attended within minutes, forensics van the next day and we’ve had a few car and even foot patrols from the police nearly every day since.

Not what I would have expected going by recent PH commentary on such matters.

Just flagging what might not be discussed much, but probably reflects reality a lot more than all the doom prophesies.

To be fair when people do get burgled (people entering a house) they do tend to turn up same with forensics.

It's just if your shed, car, van they don't really give a st.
