No surprise since they have already moved production to the far east.

Radio said that there'd be no job losses?

ETA it's in the very second sentence/para.... No job losses.

The hair dryers are costing the company a fortune .They seem to just send out new ones when you call and tell them its bust .Now there must be a simple fix? but rather than fix the issue at the factory. they just send out another .which breaks . so another one gets sent out ! etc etc . I am sure they chinese will copy and probably get it right. But when they work its the best .

My wife loves hers. The only problem she had was when the filter got blocked. She didn't realise it had one ...

Huge PR blunder by Dyson imo.

This announcement could alienate many Brexiteers, for whatever reason seem to worship him like some kind of god. I bet it doesn't do UK sales a lot of good but I don't think Jimmy D will be too concerned about UK sales post Brexit.

The unit cost to the company will be very little, a faction of the sale value sending a few replacements out won't be a big deal.

The reported profit of over £1 billion for the first time suggests that you are right!

Depends. Some retailers are thinking about pulling them. / Its a flawed design that over heats ..And remember their washing machine ! Doors fell off .they just about all broke down, Cost them a few £ . maybe not a huge % of their takings. But enough to do some damage . But as a Man he is amazing and has tried his best to help many people and businesses in the UK

The Gadget Show tested their fans last year, and their £200-£300 model was no better than a normal fan costing £15 from a supermarket.

He'll probably lay off 2000 Brits and employ 2000 Singaporeans. No net loss of jobs.

Really! Well I never! You'll be telling me that a Smeg or Fisher and Pakel fridge is no colder than a Beko at a fifth of the price. Heresy!

I did indeed read the article thanks, although it states no job loses it also makes no mention of what will happen to the staff that work at the UK headquarters, and after speaking with my cousins partner who works for Dyson...there may or may not be offers of redundancy apparently
