Cannabis safety - also see links in article:

At least there’s some sense out there!

The depression is probably the reality that hits them that their peers are motivated, coherent and not off with the fairies.

I don’t think anyone thought letting children take drugs was a good idea before this report?

Probably not, but most users start young and claim it’s everyone else’s fault they’re unemployable.

The use of the word most needs support.

No but everyone that does enjoy a joint will become an unemployable bum.
It needs legalising so some sort of control can be implemented to limit its strength and psychotic effects.

I'd say that is more accurate

laugh It's right there in the article...

I notice there wasn't a link to the actual study and the methodology was glossed over in favour of a catchy anti-drugs headline. Sounds like just another flawed epidemiological study that succumbs to selection bias.

Legalising would pretty much fix the NHS, the revenue generated from taxation would be huge.... California brought in $93 million in taxes on legal cannabis sales in Q3 2018 alone.

It would also be nice to be able to choose strain, strength and have hybrids available.

It'll be legal in the UK inside the next 10-20 years, the dominoes are toppling already.

Let’s just hope the pressure groups that want to cock up the country for the sake of feeling less persecuted over their own habits don’t succeed then.

The funny thing is, when you read something like this it actually de-credits their whole opinion on the subject. Classic case of someone who's never experimented with something in their life, clearly never spent any time round mind altering substances or the people who use them and has this made up image in their mind of what a 'user' looks like.

Coming from someone who used to live with someone who sold product, you'd be blown away by the variety of people who enjoy a smoke to wind down. Much like the huge chunk of society who enjoy a drink to wind down. In fact I think you'd probably struggle to get through life without relying on these 'unemployable bums' – doctors, lawyers, engineers, financial advisors, designers, surgeons, care workers are among the people I've known that smoke 'da erb'...

I'm always surprised about the sheer knee jerk reaction to some on here and in society on the use of recreational drugs. Especially so when these people tend to smash a bottle of wine on a school night, presumably its miles different because they bought it from Aldi and not a guy called Dave.

It's the same old problem of people trying to put everyone into a pigeon hole, a category. That there is no scale, everything is black and white and there are no grey areas.

I know someone who is self employed, him and his mate must get through an amazing amount of joints in a week yet he works 12 hrs a day 5 days a week and 10hrs on a Saturday - constantly.
He does have st for memory and is a bit paranoid though laugh

Indeed. Made me snigger into my coffee!!
I know some seriously motivated, successful and wealthy users who have been smoking since their Uni days. I suggest laying off the Daily Mail? Its garbage is addictive.
