Police tracked the “perps” down via cctv as they caught an Uber to and from the “crime” scene, and they were also captured buying the ski masks, red hats and rope on cctv. They also allegedly found the magazine clippings in their apartment from the “threat” letter that was sent a month or two back. He paid them $3,500 for it all. Supposedly it was because he wanted a pay rise.
The guy is a total tt and an utter disgrace. He’s made a complete fool out of himself and the many many people that jumped on his victim/race publicity bandwagon without questioning what was clearly, from the outset, a totally bullst Swiss cheese story.
Trouble is no one would dare publicly call bullst on him at first as of course they’d immediately be pounced upon and labeled a racist. The whole thing stinks and the backpedaling and “distancing” going on is cringeworthy yet hilarious to watch.

I’m not following trump or mueller at all, but I keep hearing leaks about how they are about to bring down the orange loon ....

Mueller's report is not finished. There has been no 'big reveal only days away'. Mueller and his team have leaked nothing about what they are doing. You don't know, I don't know. The only clues we have are the people either in jail or waiting to be sentenced who worked on the trump campaign.

Please don't repeat that Trump hasn't been charged yet. It just makes you look more foolish. Pretty much his entire election campaign team/legal team have been indicted.
Mueller will release his findings on Trump once he's concluded his investigation to his satisfaction.
Until then I'd keep quiet if I were you.
