Why does Farage always do photo ops in a pub with a pint.
Its not even usually a Wetherspoons, which I could understand.
All part of the carefully cultivated image of the common man.

Did you even read it ^^^^^ ?

Ironic that you are accusing older people of having a reduced ability to process information
Yeah I read it but so what? Of course teenagers brains are developing, but most of them aren't eligible to vote, plus only a small percentage of 18-24's vote anyway. And what about younger people aged over 24?

You presumably think it makes a relevant point but seem unable to explain what it is.

i thought the relatively well established point being made was peoples views change as they get older ?

I agree, but the debate is about why / what drives the change. I'd suggest that it's more useful to consider why views tend to change with ageing then what happens as a young brain matures before 24.

I obviously didn't quote the whole article, but if you read the context around that bit it's related to their need to process information more efficiently by tending to see things as black and white, due to a reducing ability to process information.

I'd say peak brian processing power comes at about 54 years.

Thing is you can cherry pick the hell out of that article with the odd selective quote.

"This is often manifested by their stronger set of principles and rules, and a tendency to dismiss information that conflicts with their views."

I like that one smile

So you provide some cod-psychology reasons as to why people swing more from socialism to conservatism as they age.

I post a link that explains why the decision-making of people under 25 is more emotion based due to a less developed prefrontal cortex and more rational as they age.

You can't see any relevance.

You may be young but I'm not bl00dy spoon-feeding you - work it out.

family, responsibility, material possessions and wealth would be some of the things that might bring about that change i would imagine.

Ok, help me out, explain "The Brexit Party" and where it fits in with UKIP ?

Have not taken much notice, so need to understand it.

One is Nigel Farges old party, the other is his new one.

They are both founded with a main purpose of the UK leaving the European Union.

Farage fell out with UKIP and started afresh ?

Wont that dilute UKIP and "The Brexit Party" wont win anyway, isnt there a finite amount of Brexiteers and wont a lot of them just vote for the two main parties anyway ?

Is it me or is a political party naming itself after one issue (albeit a big one) a bit like a Football team called "FA Cup 2019 United FC" ? and now there is a second one ?

Ah, got it - you'd rather snide comments... in which case;

You're an idiot.

Better?
Too much?

Odd how people get so indignant about the age thing when the stats appear to back it up.
I don't get annoyed that the statistic exists. I get annoyed when it's put forward as a reason for ignoring the result of the referendum because they disagree with it.

To be honest I was surprised it took his long for an emotional outburst from you. Hopefully your prefrontal cortex will develop soon and you can take part in rational arguments with grown-ups.
