As much as you'd like to think we're all stupid, we all realised what you meant. Now it's you who has made yourself look a fool.
If your brain was processing correctly, you'd have quickly edited your original 'short' post, and 'bingo!' nobody would have known your error - except you.
But no, your brain made you do the incorrect thing and you posted your same incorrect post, with the addition of the corrected line.

Read, and double check, 'before' posting! Can save you looking a wally. wink

In the old days we used to call it 'look before you leap!' Bloody good advice, mostly ignored these days. byebye

Ok, help me out, explain "The Brexit Party" and where it fits in with UKIP ?

Have not taken much notice, so need to understand it.

One is Nigel Farges old party, the other is his new one.
That'll do

Both single issue parties however UKIP had a few more policies but never enough to seriously gain votes in UK GE

Farage fell out with UKIP and started afresh ?
I think the referendum result meant he didn't see the need to continue to be part of UKIP - he left the party in incapable hands and it's been handed round like a stale bread roll since getting more and more toxic

J4CKO said:
Wont that dilute UKIP and "The Brexit Party" wont win anyway, isnt there a finite amount of Brexiteers and wont a lot of them just vote for the two main parties anyway ?
Well we know there are 17.4 million of em last time they were asked - will some of them vote for the main two parties - probably but as both of them are kinda making a st job of dealing with the fallout of 2016 if you were brexit leaning why would you vote for more st

Is it me or is a political party naming itself after one issue (albeit a big one) a bit like a Football team called "FA Cup 2019 United FC" ? and now there is a second one ?
I think for a GE a single issue party has FA chance of getting into government but of an EU election - I think they could give both main parties a bloody nose because voting for UKIP or Brexit Party in EU elections has no home downside

EU Elections are PR if UKIP vote gets split it's not an issue

If this, from the Independent, is right it might spur on the present incumbents to get off their arses and agree a deal.

“Nigel Farage's new Brexit Party has surged ahead in opinion polls for next month's European Parliament elections, with a new survey suggesting it is on course to leave Labour and the Conservatives trailing in its wake.

The YouGov poll placed the party on 27 per cent within a week of its launch, putting it well ahead of Labour on 22 per cent and the Conservatives on 15 per cent, just weeks before the 23 May elections.”

Did you not note the 'winky' and 'wavey', ie not to be taken seriously?

When I joined PHs (nearly 20 yrs ago) we mostly talked cars - there was nobody like you, no trolls or thick kbw's.
You were probably still sat at a desk in class. I bet you're a millennial remoaner who didn't vote.

edit
Bingo! laugh
In all that time I've never felt the need to change my username, not once.
YOU should have taken my 'good advice' above and stopped after you typed bellend.

YOU seem to know a lot about my 'posting', yet why is it that I don't recognise your username?
What an odd one too...
'and then she' - come on, 'and then she' what?

called you out, perhaps...
Schmunk

Bright boy eh? Not a f bright as you think you are, eh?
I bet a few more regulars on here will now recognise your 'previous' username.

Call me a prick but I've called you out! tongue out
When 'you've' lived a bit more, that is got a bit wiser, you might stop making schoolboy errors.

It's quite simple (possibly not for Remoaner simpleton keyboard warriors though)

And then she previous username was Schmunk

Why don't you ask him why he decided to change his username?

Frankly, I don't think the mods are doing nearly enough with certain, repeat-o-troll users.

Calling someone a bellend would likely incur a ban if the recipient of the insult bothered to complain, but these types are like whack a mole and will pop up a gain to do the same nonsense.

It's not as if it's that easy to get banned from here, is it?

I got so fed up of Ghibli's trolling that I started reporting every single post that I considered to be trolling/baiting/etc. Not maliciously, only posts that I truly believe constituted trolling.

Haven't seen him for a while, maybe the mods agreed hehe

The rest of the trolls don't bother me, there was just something about Ghibli's faux-naive baiting style that gets really old after a while biggrin
