Remainers really wetting themselves over Brexit Party. You were informed that Brexiteers did not embarrass themselves by waddling around in the streets waving silly placards. You were all told that brexiteers voice themselves through the ballot box, that’s where it counts. And so it begins.
Brexiteers - check.
Silly placards - check.
Waddling around streets - check.
Embarrass themselves - check.

Always a few odd ones to be found here and there. 17.4 million brexiteers voted leave, the on street protesters amount to a fairly low % of that total I think. rofl

Loads of people moan that the political system is broken and that the two current main parties are st and we should have another party to break up the current status quo; but then they do everything they can to discredit the new party, look for excuses not to support it [because Brexit] and continue to moan like fk.

I have followed this thread and am amazed how people cannot separate the different types of elections; ffs it is an EU election not General.

But hey, this is NP&E
True, good that the anti mob only amount to six posters though! And some of those come in different flavours it seems.

I'm surprised the electoral commission permits this logo.
If they put that logo on the side of a big red bus pointing at a polling station, I fear you may explode in rage.

Reading PH for yours and Phia's Brexit thoughts, is great comedy.

Quite.

But when one considers that St Nige is in 3 of those images, it raises the question of who you are claiming is in fact, one of the "odd ones"!

And in other news, the fabulously wonderful "Led by Donkeys" have decided that St Nige and his previous questionable comments are coming to a billboard near you soon...!!!!!!

biggrin

Thread has turned into so much comedy gold. Obviously we don't know yet who will have the last laugh, but it's currently damn amusing in all directions.

Excellent. So he does have at least one national policy.

One that I wholeheartedly support, so that's good.

I'm not sure even what you mean by posting that. You post it like there should be some revulsion or instant dislike. What reaction do you think it should provoke, do you even know ?

I think Piha is missing the halcyon days of a Govt petition supported by half the globe in support of a second referendum, and the mass crowds of the Peoples March in Remain Central, looked like a million+ to those with blinkers on, others called the numbers as they really were.

Times have moved on and nostalgia was never what it was cracked up to be.

It's certainly different from "we increased funding more than the other lot" which is the typical politician's line on the NHS.
(That the money is still effectively going to waste never seems to come into it)
Exactly.

An insurance scheme, using fixed adult pricing (with a portion going to Government to deliver primary and acute care), giving individuals the option to choose from a panel of providers (so they can choose what matters most to them as individuals) should see large increases in customer satisfaction and patient outcomes. Things we have struggled with for years within our non-competitive environment.

In times of desperation envisioning a loss, even in the weakest of positions the fight instinct kicks in for some. Like when being attacked by a group, the old “go for the biggest one first” rule kicks in through desperation. Unfortunately it rarely works, the misguided weak simply add to their potential injuries when the outcome is seen.

The BP will slaughter the rest in the E.U. elections it would appear, and no amount of st thrown at Farage at this stage is gonna make the slightest negative difference - in fact, in many cases it can work against the activists desperately trying to impose their opinions. This is not Farage fanboyism in my mind, it is not like Labour’s “Momentum in name only”, it is proper momentum against a failing democracy, and Piha and co’s views do seem to be in for a major kicking no matter what they do, to go back to my earlier analogy.

The GE could well be different, but I would suggest that no new party in UK history will have seen such electoral support so quickly. Because it isn’t about the figurehead or party, it is simply about the single issue of a majority of folks who voted to leave the E.U. being thwarted by a comparative minority in government still firmly in front of mind for many, and someone - in fact anyone to help them get their democratic rights heard and the outcome implemented standing up.

And while remain go walkabout in their tens of thousands with their placards, they know that the quiet leavers will exercise their frustration at the ballot box, the only place it matters if democracy is to be re-implemented in the UK. And that folks is the momentum that they want to break having had some previous encouragement at seemingly breaking UK democracy.

a play on the username (obviously not a very good one biggrin) due to the amount of well educated supposedly intelligent remain voters that apparently can't spell farage. hopefully the passion shown by aphi will be reflected in the rest of the pro eu population come the eu elections and we can get a true picture of just how strong support for remain really is in the uk.

It's a distraction technique though.

It's basically "I'm shouting and hopefully you won't realise I haven't answered your question".

To coin a phrase it's "pretty low grade stuff" IMO.
if used that way fair enough. when it is frustration due to conversing with someone being stupid i think it is ok .
Do you think Andrew Marr is stupid?

I don't always agree with his line of questioning but I don't think he's stupid, and all Farage did was throw his toys like a child at mild questioning about totally valid things he's said and/or done.

I have my views on the chap, that's a personal thing, but considering how badly he stands up to any level of scrutiny or questioning whilst presenting himself as something different, the the fact so many people seem unable to see through that totally beats the st out of me.
