This, most of the best nurses don't have or need a degree.

And we lose a lot of great potential nurses because they struggle with the academic side, which contributes little or nothing to the job of a nurse.

Something I did see was excitement at lowering the mandatory theory/placement hours once we leave the EU as it’ll reduce the workload for student nurses
