52%. 3 years on it's still all about racism. hehe
Well, it's not about the economy, sovereignty, 'taking back control' or EU laws 'that we have to obey', so there's not really very much left as far as I can see.

I make that about 25 times the monthly per capita cost of EU membership. I'd be demanding a big red bus, a campaign & a referendum to get me out of such an undemocratic racket if I were being opressed like that.
Money well spent IMO.

Seems to be working smile

So, for clarity, you are entirely happy about the EU, Eurozone and the way they are being run? No issues there at all?

Of course, there's no rational explanation other than that more than half the country just don't like the skin colour of people in western Europe.

Why do you keep repeating this nonsense. “More than half the country” haven’t said anything.

I was happy to be a member of the largest trading block in the world. Being 'entirely' happy isn't a realistic state of being.

Which ones specifically? It's just that I've never felt the effect of any of them. Have you?

The political aspects, say? Fudging Greece into the EU & Euro because it's good for the project, and then selling 4 generations of Greeks down the river with a big middle finger later on?

Hell, just the Euro generally. Lunacy on a massive scale.

I have no desire for a competent additional layer of politicians and bureaucrats, let alone the likes we actually ended up with.

Why does it always come back to the EU? confused

You don't need to chum up to the AfD to leave the EU.

You don't need to chum up to Fraser Anning to leave the EU.

You don't need a stty fking poster to leave the EU.

You don't need a bunch of "quality candidates" with some really fking stty views to leave the EU.

It's not about the EU.

Yup, and if Greece held a referendum to join the EU (afaik they didn't), and a Greek person was blaming the Greek voters for doing what they thought was best, and what the fk did they think they were playing at, and would they like to come around and explain to their children, they could also FRO biggrin

Uh huh & the question was what effects of the EU have you felt? And you punted the Greeks. laugh

And moreover, it may interest you to know Tsipras did hold a referendum on the EU bailout package, lost, cancelled it, went to the people to explain why, then held a GE & won.

If only we had the same level of emotional intelligence here...

Yup, because I feel outraged about it. Greece alone was probably enough to preclude my support. It's indefensible IMO.

Right, we're getting somewhere. So the outrage you felt on behalf of a bunch of people thousands of miles away trumps one of your own compatriots & you demonstrated that by voting to make everyone, including him, worse off. Man, I admire your principled stand on things and stuffs. laugh
