Around 60 days on hunger strike is about average to finish you off.
I suppose these snowflakes would cave in after 24 hours anyway

I've said from the start that they are a death cult and this pretty much proves it!
The hierarchy have said that their campaign has nothing to do with climate change, just read the blog of one of their founder members Stuart Basden

last time we saw a death cult like this was WACO!

It will come as a surprise to many, but XR co-founder Roger Hallam is actually a complete plonker.
His latest offer of evidence is to attempt to normalise the Holocaust by downplaying the genocide and calling it "just another f*ckery in human history".

No wonder Labour were so keen to jump on the climate bandwagon.

XR have a little more PR savy than the Labour party. They know that public faith in their message is critical and if that goes they are shafted as unlike Labour who have a massive and puzzling support base due to tribalism, XR are a new thing and the public are very much not decided about them given the disruption they cause. If they start getting more news cycles about racism that could be very damaging. I despise them and particularly Hallam so as he is a founder, personally I would like to see him thrown out in the cold as it will cause a rift that will weaken them

Marxists believe that revolting proles will emerge in capitalist countries and overthrow capitalism along with the bourgies.

GCHQ people weren't around in Marx's day.

Strictly speaking they are more of a doomsday cult.
Mind you, their fanaticism (including on here, a few PH members) makes me feel they are the middle class/Lib Dem/Waitrose wing of ISIS. Totally obsessed and beligerant.

Dozens of malnourished elephants, giraffes and wildebeest are being rescued from an Arab sheikh’s private game reserve in South Africa in an operation funded by Damian Aspinall, the casino-owning millionaire conservationist.

"What eventually dooms apocalyptic prophecies is their failure to materialize. In the case of global warming, true believers are in a bind. The public is likely to accept a major reduction in its standard of living only if it believes “mass extinction” is the alternative. Yet the closer and more threatening the scenarios, the more they are subject to disproof. Believers may postpone the apocalyptic date, but eventually cognitive dissonance becomes too great."

In general terms, the litany of impending disasters pertaining to the climate, can also be applied to the fate of the NHS. Small adjustments to the terminology may be required. "Fourteen days to save the NHS/world" and the like.

The problem is that he’s not wrong. He’s a complete plonker and I disagree with pretty much everything that comes out of his mouth, but this is another case of the professionally upset twisting words that people have said and finding offence.

Even if you limit the context to the 20th century, the Nazis were fairly average. Stalin starved 7 million to death, Pol Pot murdered 2 million. 1.5 million Armenians killed in Turkey. The absolute winner was Chairman Mao, who caused the deaths of between 18 and 54 million people. Wasn’t murder though, just starvation due to policy, so he apparently gets a pass. So Adolf is distinctly middle of the pack. Doesn’t make it any less horrific, but we humans seem to be very good at killing each other.

If you look a the whole of history, well, one G. Khan probably takes the crown. Probably not in absolute numbers, but he does win the brutality competition, as well as most people dispatched by hand.

yes

However if media manipulation puts the climate extremist cults back in the bottle, I’m all for it. It was those morons who promoted this crap in the first place.

Churchill killed off 3 million Indians in Bengal due to starvation and he gets a pass and that's whilst being a leader of a democracy.

He even wrote to the the war secretary "I have been much concerned at the apparently excessive quantities of grain demanded, which impose a great strain on our shipping and finances. Will you let me have, at the earliest possible moment…estimates of the amount of food which is really needed "

Kerching. A view on following the money, stateside.

"We must recognize that today’s radical environmentalists are not attempting to solve problems but instead are calling for changes in our political system, in the reach of our laws, our methods of agriculture and industry, in the structure of capitalism, the profit system, international relations and definitely in education. They are now working toward these goals with the best financed lobby in our history. Global warming and climate change just turned out to be the very best mechanism to achieve these goals."
