Wrong colour skin unfortunately, won’t get a fraction of the coverage of a burnt building in France.

I know that’s an awful thing to type but I’m increasingly depressed about the state of humanity on this planet.
It's not an awful thing to type, it's an awful reality

I'd say it's got bugger all to do with skincolour, just relevance, priority and interest; it's getting plenty of coverage, as you'd expect. Not so much on the vast flooding in Iran today or the ongoing slaughter in Libya, Yemen or another dozen countries though, as that's quite complicated and boring.

We get the news we pay to consume...

Please stop being a for a short while. No one is impressed.
Although in bad taste his point was spot on.
Yep, was on point, as they say.

Are we in any better state on another planet?

Possible today chosen for maximum effect.

5 Brits confirmed dead, apparently.

Awful news, such a waste of life.

Its a beautiful country, I was there in 2003 and have many happy memories of the place and the people there.

Will have a huge effect on the tourist trade, and they need the business there. Very sad event.

Clearly chosen to try to whip up religious hatred. The best we can do is not react. Some people will react though.

Yes
I am not religious particularly but I try not to mock or ridicule those that are. When we lost one of our children a long time ago now a woman involved with the local church who showed great kindness to us and particularly my wife. She didn't try and force any views upon her or me.
It was very comforting to my wife and we will never forget that

Actually that's unlikely. The various religions in SL are quite set in their relationships and have been for a long time. As you'd expect, many coexist quite happily but many have fixed animosity toward the other faiths.

This is, as almost every conflict in SL, about trying to get political support and power. Someone will pop up soon claiming that they'll get rid of the terrorists and they'll win votes.

Right now though, it's likely to fail; the present incumbents aren't likely to treat this matter with kid gloves and they'll stifle any attempt trying to use it against them.

It’ll be interesting to see who is behind it; the attacks are apparently against Christians, at least at the churches and obviously the timing suggests that.
Suicide bomber named. His religion won't be a huge surprise. The YouTube channel full of hate preaching might surprise some.

Horrific. frown

The country had barely just recovered after decades of civil war and now this has happened.

I'm surprised Khan hasn't been in the press explaining why he's put extra security at churches in the capital given his response to the NZ nutter attack. He normally loves the publicity.
