Nissin Soba noodles by a long way, out of all the brands i have tried.

The Yakitori chicken is great.

Tough to get hold of in our local places but easily the best and by some distance.

I coughed as I was eating one and pushed some of the broth into my sinuses, that sucked. I also managed to get a drop in my eye once, not recommended.

Kabuto noodles are quite nice and a little bit spicy.

I can get them in my local Morrison's, they're in the world food scetion.

They also sell the packets of noodles, which have nicer noodles but are more of a faff to heat up.

Nissin Cup Noodles are nice too.

Try and get down to a Chinese supermarket. They’ll have loads of packet and cup noodles.

If shin pots are a bit tame https://groceries.asda.com/product/noodles/samyang...

There's also a 2x spicy version in a packet.
The way the red oil flavouring stains the inside of the pot is a sight to behold!

I like these ones too. Different from the others in that you get rid of the water rather than eat a noodle soup. Our local Chinese supermarket has 4 different flavours, all good and £1.50 each.

However the best ones are the Nakamoto ones. They start off OK with you wondering what the big deal is, then it just seems to get better the more you eat. I used to live in Japan and their restaurant was a regular stop for my wife and I, when we went back and had a day stop over in Tokyo, it's the place we went too. My mother in law sends us other a batch occasionally. They aren't really available readily in shops in the UK unfortunately are have extraordinary mark up on the amazon link I put above, eBay has them for around £8 too.

i'm not sure if supermarkets are a little different in some regions of the UK but these things are widely available in all the big supermarkets in the world food section. even in small ones like tesco metro. usually around 90p

my only gripe with potted noodles is.. there just isn't enough. i eat 2 or 3 meals a day, don't snack in between. so i want something decent. around 600-700 cals. but most of these are about 300. smaller than a normal packet of noodles that's usually around 500. and i want to add extra bits like meat and veg.

one time king size pot noodles were on sale at £1, so i bought several for work. big mistake. can't slurp, the broth would fly all over, and it went over my shirt.
