Laurence Fox - note the spelling of his first name - was actually rather kind about them on QT. He said that the situation was difficult, that they had a new baby which is a factor, and that he empathised. Hardly weird or unhealthy.
I think you're looking for something (racism) which simply isn't there. Which, sorry to say, is a bit weird and unhealthy.
Still, provide some specific examples of racist comments by the British press about Meghan - not just criticism that you assume is racist - and your assertion can be proved.
He is also on record as calling them "ultra woke hypocrites" who should just "fk off". He also has issues with the "MeToo" campaign.I think you're looking for something (racism) which simply isn't there. Which, sorry to say, is a bit weird and unhealthy.

Perhaps he is like some of PH's very own MGTOWs?
After all his views on Trump include wandering around London in a Make America Great Again hat.......so the hat would quite literally fit.
This thread for the last 48 to 72 hrs kinda exemplifies the whole point Mr Fox makes in general - on QT, on the Trigonometry vlog, and in the medias (sic)
All opinions are now becoming binary. The projection of them is becoming ‘ultra right, ultra wrong’ and fundamentally (as exemplified by the distortion of this thread) - overrules debate, discussion and understanding.
Options are allowed to be varied
Opinions from the opposite ends of the spectrum become extreme and vocal point scoring
Those in the middle or can see beyond the hatred shake their heads and think ‘fking idiots’
So those arguing about Mr Foxs views also have a large volume of onlookers hoping the thread gets back on topic and away from this petty point scoring- whilst likely thinking “fking idiots”

But this threads about Question Time not a sultry songstress who pens amusing little ditties.

To put this into some perspective
If you were Mr Fox or pretty much anyone with a high profile on Twitter and you poste that you would be crucified for the use of just 2 words
half cast
You would in all likelihood be heavily slagged for using that description
Crazy, but true. People of 'non-colour' aren't allowed to openly quote facts regarding skin colour or gender anymore. Yet watch Live at the Apollo and without exception, every single black (there I go again) comedian/enne can't help but include a piece that refers to their own skin colour and/or race in their routines. It's so tiresome. Why do they feel the need to do it? Just get on with making us laugh FFS.If you were Mr Fox or pretty much anyone with a high profile on Twitter and you poste that you would be crucified for the use of just 2 words

The only people that constantly seem to only see the colour of people are those trying to only see them as a victim in need of protection - the rest of us just see them as David, Jen, Constance, Silvia, Avinash, Louis, Ayisha, Simon etc... and quite happy to get on for themselves.DeepEnd said:
Hey DeepEnd, how are those specific examples of racism by the British press towards Meghan coming along?Or are you too busy deflecting attention by pursuing some weird and unhealthy "I dislike Laurence" tangent?

That’s precisely what he’s doing. You know it, we know it...him? I’m not so sure. Or are you too busy deflecting attention by pursuing some weird and unhealthy "I dislike Laurence" tangent?

Man says he doesn't date people with specific politics.People with specific politics feel so aggravated that they have to write a whole article about "well I wouldn't date him anyway".
And you think they're the winners?
The lack of self awareness here is astonishing.

I always find this odd, (assuming Mrs Graveworm passes on or tires of me) I wouldn't date anyone with religious beliefs. I am not religiophobic just would be a recipe for disaster. Personally I would also like to be able to examine it, when considering anyone for employment that requires critical thinking, but I understand that I may not, that's not the same thing. Those on the left preach tolerance and equality, but are only tolerant of those with views they agree with and certainly don't give equality of anything to those they disagree with
It's hypocrisy of the highest order and as with Brexit, it would appear that those with the greatest media presence (journalists, actors, singers, etc) are out of step with the majority of the public.
Fox simply expressed the views of the silent majority which is to say get out of your backside and get into the real world
The question on a female leader for the labour party was for me the most telling - shami chakrabarti was made to look like a complete tit

I’m surprised you are putting your head up on this Tuna.People with specific politics feel so aggravated that they have to write a whole article about "well I wouldn't date him anyway".

The real lack of self awareness issue comes from a bloke saying he has strong views on who he won’t date. It reveals serious issues which become obvious when you look into his outbursts since his divorce. If you can’t see that.....
It is Fox attacking people, not the other way round, where others are just laughing at the absurdity of his tantrums and anger at the world and how it has “wronged” him. The pattern is well developed across various topics.

Firstly it isn’t a tolerance issue. Pointing out deep seated misogyny doesn’t make someone intolerant, it makes them observant. That it might upset those with who are patent misogynists is not their problem. It's hypocrisy of the highest order and as with Brexit, it would appear that those with the greatest media presence (journalists, actors, singers, etc) are out of step with the majority of the public.

Lastly, Shami’s point on “what about a women” was a cheap pointless shot but his reaction - oh my days the mask was on the floor. He should have calmly said he thought Kier was still the best candidate for all the right reasons, but oh no he was uber triggered. I wonder if she knew......
