Balanced Question Time panel tonight - of course not! Vol 3
Discussion
All about the vaccine that barely anybody knows anything about yet.
Hancock doesn’t know how many people need the vaccine to protect society and yet he’s asserting they’ll start using it anyway and work it out as we go. In addition he asserts they’ll “probably end up vaccinating more than 50%”.
Yawn.
Wish I’d stuck with my original attempt to swerve it

I wouldn't expect Hancock to know much about the vaccine, be rest assured that those who need to know about it, do know about it.Hancock doesn’t know how many people need the vaccine to protect society and yet he’s asserting they’ll start using it anyway and work it out as we go. We'd reach herd immunity at around 60% but as the disease has a disproportionate effect across the herd demographic, Hancock is correct that it goes to the clinically vulnerable first, and work its way down from there. For covid, there's no real need to achieve herd immunity via immunisation. The vulnerable get vaccinated, half the rest of us simply get covid and the rest won't get it as enough have been vaccinated or had the disease.
Anyhoo....
I thought it was a bit of a slap for FB to go for the straw poll as to whether Hancock should be vaccinated. It's like the 'have you stopped beating your wife' question.
If Hancock is first in the queue for the vaccine, the outcry will be 'oh of course, one rule for them, now they've had the vaccine, what about the rest of us'
If Hancock doesn't have the vaccine, and imho quite rightly as he is NOT clinically vulnerable, he'll be pilloried with cries of 'Oh might not be safe so he won't take it, until the proletariat have been used as a guinea pig.
First thing out of Lammy's gob was about race. Predictable. No, Lammy, it won't go exclusively to BAME recipients, it will be based on clinical need, irrespective of race. Which will be racist, naturally.
Ooh Spooks has just started. My night is complete.....

Brillo was on Daily Politics yesterday and had a proper go at the SNP bloke.
You're not kidding! He let that bawbag Smith have it with both barrels, and rightly so; the SNP have fked education in Scotland. There's a reason Blair won a lot of votes with 'Education, education, education' backed up with a firehose filled with money.BBC Question Time Thursday 10.45pm

Emily Thornberry – Labour (

Cleverly and Thornberry. Again?!
I’ll probably get shot on here for this but Blackford is good value. Fraser Nelson is a level head.
Nothing inspiring about that lineup though really.
Good value? In the sense he's an obese windbag perhaps on a lb/£ basis.I’ll probably get shot on here for this but Blackford is good value. Fraser Nelson is a level head.

Anyone given Andrew Neil's show on Spectator TV a try?.
Watched one of his weekly shows the other day and it was quite good. Helped by an appearance by the lovely Kate Andrews.
That also had Fraser Nelson on as well.
Yeah, I rate it actually, whichever way you think it may slant, at least it's calm.Watched one of his weekly shows the other day and it was quite good. Helped by an appearance by the lovely Kate Andrews.

Some people may not be aware of Emilys flexibility
She could well have been an important and major actress
Here she is auditioning for the role of Rosa Klebb in the proposed unofficial remake of From Russia With Love
Here she is when she auditioned to be M in Casino Royale before it was decided Judy Dench would continue in the role
Here she is seen helping out at her local Barnardos Charity Shop

Bunter Blackford pontificating for an hour on late evening BBC1 makes me feel slightly queasy. Add to that Lady Nugee and it's a perfect storm. I'd sooner insert size 4 knitting needles into my old chap whilst singing 'the wheels on the bus' and doing the actions, than watch a single second of such garbage.
There should be a sweepstake on the following phrases from Bunter -
"The peeepul o'Scoatlun"
"Oanly wi' independense"
"Dragged oot again ooor will"
"Toxic Toareeeee Brexit"
"Anither referendum"
I reckon we could be calling 'house' within the first ten minutes, especially if Fiona Bruce does her usual and allows such gasometers to speak without interruption for long periods.

If you said the same thing about a Tory female you’d be drowning in comments shaming you by now.
