top surrogate for President Trump, who holds a senior campaign position in Iowa, said Wednesday night that the president has done more for women than anyone else she could think of besides Mother Teresa.

"There's not a person alive that literally has done so much for a female, for the female population," said Tana Goertz, Trump Team Coordinator in Iowa. "I can't think of one person that I could go, except for Mother Teresa. I mean, literally, who has done more for women in office than Donald Trump?"

Well, he's certainly given women lots of money for saying nothing biggrin
Let's have the press ask her to qualify that statement. Ask her what Trump has done for women.

What a traitor to her gender.

Who gives a st about moaning old golfers? fking hell, talk about non-story
trump not paying out money, well combine that with several other stories such as how he owes several cities money after his rallys there which he isn't paying and it starts showing a pattern of non payment.

See, it's not just about golfers...

Rather like if 22 women come out with allegations of sexual assault, all with similar stories...
^^^^^ this.

As I've said a few times - Trump's greatest skill is his ability to upset people - especially those who have had intimate contact with him. That includes business and other forms of contacts.

A strategy where you spend your life double crossing people off and pissing them is not conducive to longevity.

As much as I fully agree with what you say at the top, for longevity - he's still going strong and has managed to become the POTUS and basically acts like he is untouchable so it seems to be working for him at the moment. If next year just bumbles along like this year whereby he just gets more outrageous and nothing seems to touch him then he's more than likely nailed on for another term.

I am reading this a lot, but it's early days. Surely if the Dems can field an even half functioning human, they are offering something 50% better than the current WH occupier?

I'd imagine that many ordinary Americans must be seething to be humiliated daily and will be motivated to get him out come voting time?

I hope so, I guess polls only show a binary answer not the emotional side so as he gets more emboldened people may get more embarrassed by it and vote against him (good candidate from the Dems not withstanding).

How do you define "going strong"? He's still alive - granted. He's still President - as his 1st term is not yet finished.

I don't think ANYTHING is working for him. Name one solid element of his rambling Presidential campaign policies that are fully implemented.

The same could be said about a lot of Obama's policies that were simply blocked in the houses due to the legal system there. He is surrounded by legal cases, being overtly racist/bigoted/deranged and is still polling 'OK'. He's able to roll out his particularly vile immigration policies, including the newer one about to be released, managed to give huge tax cuts, has removed the debt ceiling to take that issue off the table, had the longest government shut down in history (i think..) but simply carried on and shows no sign of slowing down. I'd say that he is going strong and not much is being successful at slowing him down.

Facts don't seem to matter, which I think is the point. If you analyse his business closely it would be hard to define him as successful but clearly he believes it and it seems a staggering amount of people are still bought in to the whole successful businessman running the country to make them all rich concept in spite of so much evidence to the contrary!

Just someone who can read properly would be an improvement.

I know that sounds laughable, snide and hyperbolic but it's literally true!

Agree with POB and Tony. The problem is as follows;

1. A big chunk of the US electorate are hard of thinking.
2. To get through to them you have to say something which is both simple and quite scary, slowly and loudly. e.g. "IMMIGRANTS.......WALL........GUNS....."
3. As long as you can keep doing that, and waffle your way through anya wkward questions which might point out that you're talking rubbish, you'll be fine.

This isn't a million miles from the truth

Trump appears to have behaved like this all his life and is still going. I think he’s passing the ‘longevity’ test at the moment.

Not that he should, of course.

Ducking and diving in business is not the same as being answerable politically in what should be a functioning democracy.

There does seem to be a massive assumption here that somehow the citizens of the United States are imbecilic and incapable of basic judgement of human or humane values - which I find despicable and a downright insult to one of the most successful nations the world has ever seen. Trump is a disgrace - and I am pretty sure most Americans think he is too.

But wasn't Obama's hands mostly tied by the senate blocking things, just like they are now for the dems with Moscow Mitch blocking anything they try?

They basically ignore congress now and there doesn't appear to be anything being done to hold them accountable so far.

You can thank the wonders of TV, and being a so called Celebrity. People see him on TV and think wow he must be so successful and he will make america just as successful.

Its only when you watch any interviews on the WH lawn as someone posted early, he knows fk all about anything.

That’s not being reflected in the polls. It wasn’t reflected in the mid terms. It wasn’t even reflected in the Presidential election.

The Bible means a lot to me.......

This is what America needs to do, they have to start to ask him questions, even basic ones. So far, almost three years down the line no one has ever asked him to back up any of his bullsh*t.

I think you're wrong. Loads of people have asked him questions. His standard response is to repeatedly shout "FAKE NOOZ" when cornered.
