Trump appears to have behaved like this all his life and is still going. I think he’s passing the ‘longevity’ test at the moment.

Not that he should, of course.
Ducking and diving in business is not the same as being answerable politically in what should be a functioning democracy.

There does seem to be a massive assumption here that somehow the citizens of the United States are imbecilic and incapable of basic judgement of human or humane values - which I find despicable and a downright insult to one of the most successful nations the world has ever seen. Trump is a disgrace - and I am pretty sure most Americans think he is too.
An assumption like that would be unfair, but they did vote him in.

I think it'd be naive to think (not suggesting you do) he doesn't have a reasonable chance to get back in next time.

Of course he has a chance. I'm not saying he won't get in. But he certainly does not represent the views of the majority of Americans. More people DIDN'T vote for him in 2016. He got in by the quirks of the US Presidential system - and those quirks may work for him again.

This is what America needs to do, they have to start to ask him questions, even basic ones. So far, almost three years down the line no one has ever asked him to back up any of his bullsh*t.

I think you're wrong. Loads of people have asked him questions. His standard response is to repeatedly shout "FAKE NOOZ" when cornered.
Or makes some generic we will see comment.

Our Country has lost, stupidly, Trillions of Dollars with China over many years. They have stolen our Intellectual Property at a rate of Hundreds of Billions of Dollars a year, & they want to continue. I won’t let that happen! We don’t need China and, frankly, would be far better off without them. The vast amounts of money made and stolen by China from the United States, year after year, for decades, will and must STOP. Our great American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China, including bringing your companies HOME and making your products in the USA. I will be responding to China’s Tariffs this afternoon. This is a GREAT opportunity for the United States. Also, I am ordering all carriers, including Fed Ex, Amazon, UPS and the Post Office, to SEARCH FOR & REFUSE all deliveries of Fentanyl from China (or anywhere else!). Fentanyl kills 100,000 Americans a year. President Xi said this would stop - it didn’t. Our Economy, because of our gains in the last 2 1/2 years, is MUCH larger than that of China. We will keep it that way!
is that an executive order

The guy is a solid gold, class A tit.

There's something very wrong with the American democratic and voting system if this is the sort of president that gets elected UNLESS the majority of American citizens actually support hit views. And I can't believe they really do.

America, you really need to know that the comical and random outbursts, twitter led decision making on the hoof, aggressive retorts, hiring and firing of anybody who agrees or disagrees with him and blatantly idiotic stuff that seems to stream from the presidents mouth and thumbs really are making you a laughing stock on the world stage.

Diplomacy dictates that nobody official body is going to tell you that in such blunt terms as there is a respect for the country and the office of president.

Trump is a clown. Is he really the best your great nation can muster?

You have to laugh at his refusal to give us any of his favourite verses (sic) and his answer to the 'New Testament or 'Old Testament' question. "Oh, er, about equal." In other words he knows three-fifths of fk all about any of it, having read none of it, and could therefore cite nothing to fuel a sensible/substantive answer.

I do genuinely wonder if he's mad.

I haven't decided if I mean in the "nuts" sense or the "mental impairment" sense but the stuff he says just doesn't seem at all right.

Impossible to pin him down on anything. Stolen from twitter, but a snapshot of a transcript between reporter and Trump. Just ignores the questions, and talks about him and how people love him.

Be interesting to see how he copes with the debates. Before he could blame everything on politicians, the swamp, Obama etc. Now he is the guy running the show. They just need to quote facts at him and watch him struggle.

He has significant mental illness, and also I think it is very likely he is showing signs of dementia.

Mrs. Guitar (psychologist) says he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Looking at the list below, I am not sure it is necessary to be a psychologist to make the diagnosis!

That's some skills there! Mental, obviously, but his ability to prattle on about himself is impressive.

Easy to win these trade wars...

The Chinese State Council says it’s slapping tariffs ranging from 5% to 10% on $75 billion U.S. goods in two batches effective on Sept. 1 and Dec. 15.
It also said a 25% tariff will be imposed on U.S. cars and a 5% on auto parts and components, which will go into effect on Dec.15. China had paused these tariffs in April.
Sept. 1 and Dec. 15 are when President Donald Trump’s latest tariffs on Chinese goods are to take effect.

So more tit for tat...

Then this article should be interesting. How fentanyl flowed through the U.S. Postal Service and across the southern border.

White house staffer and a blow job on the roof. Thats indictment if a president...

A former General Services Administration manager had oral sex with a White House staffer on the rooftop of the agency’s headquarters and drank alcohol in his office, according to an inspector general report.

Former GSA associate administrator Brennan Hart admitted to investigators that he escorted a White House staffer into the GSA’s central office at 1800 F Street in Washington in July 2017 and made drinks for himself and the unidentified worker with vodka he kept at his desk,

https://nypost.com/2019/08/23/government-worker-ha...

It’s unclear whether Hart resigned or was fired from his post, but he was cited for possessing and consuming alcohol on the job and having sex on government property, the report found.

“Having sex in the central office building is not an authorized purpose for use by the public,” the report said. “Further, there is no law or GSA regulation that allows an employee to have sex in the building.”

You have to have a law to allow it in the US? biggrin

Dare I suggest that some of China’s trade rules ARE unfair and they are taking liberties?

Not saying the Orange Turd’s approach is correct, just that there might be a kernel of justification in tackling China’s business practices.
