To what, the link I just responded to or what NewYork is doing?
What New York is doing.
The "Green Light Law", as it is called, will allow illegal Aliens driver's license. The can be used for various entries, etc. as described in the link. Trump has proposed blocking New York from the federal "Known Traveler Plan" that allows quicker less scrutinized checking of a passenger. A drivers License, used as a main ID in most of the US, could facilitate one into the program. Access to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles database (common for states to give the feds access) allows tracking of passengers who fly as well. This access is also being denied. The Known Traveler program is administered by the TSA and is a privilege, not a right.

Just as the modest Trump tweets himself a Happy Presidents Day message, topless feminists and a Hindu anti-meat eater invade Bernies speech and push him off the podium to rant. The US in microcosm.

[This doesn't mean I hate Hindus, meat-eaters, topless feminists, twitter, podiums or the US]
Or topless trans-identifying meat eaters too.

I think they work in shifts. Gameface is daddy and Byker is mummy. The others are the little Trumpettes who pop up to support mummy and daddy.
And you're the weird uncle who pretends to be a woman on the internet and nobody wants to come to dinner
Catching up on what I missed over the weekend and I very nearly wrote that exact reply, but then couldn't be bothered interacting with 'Jane' so deleted it hehe

Trump is probably (sorry to say I'm not fully acquainted with the issues) right to tell New York to meet Federal rules on immigration but, why link it to cases involving him on a personal basis?

Did he or did New York claim he is doing so? I didn't see.

Seems to me that they've addressed that concern:-
cis article said:
The only limitation on this license is that it will be stamped "Not for Federal Purposes". These new licenses will be acceptable for identification for all but a few "federal purposes". As of today, the restricted federal purposes are boarding an aircraft or entering certain government buildings, military installations, and nuclear facilities.
So it can't be used as ID when boarding an aircraft anyway, even if the person somehow gets onto the Global Entry scheme.

That is a great rebuttal Jimbeaux, but doesn't it miss the point that he is witholding the Global Entry not for the reasons you would hope (e.g., your exact point above) but because he doesn't want lawsuits against him?

Don't you think NY is doing a pretty good job holding him accountable for say using charitable funds to pay off his business debts?
Shouldn't they continue doing that?

Except that the lawsuit came after the no entry order.
As to the charitable funds accusation, I haven't followed that but of course they should follow up and prove that against him if it so.

These cities declaring themselves "sanctuary cities" and purposely denying federal law enforcement agencies access to data or cooperation on crime fighting is obvious to all as a ploy to somehow incorporate these illegals eventually as voters; this is no mystery. The public, however, is beginning to ask why these Dems are spending so much energy, money, and time on illegals as opposed to the legal citizens who are paying the bill. They see no value in illegals having the same rights as citizens.

Only Trump (and his support) would see this article in the positive way that he is choosing to see it. Interesting podcast here with Peter Baker.

At around 10 mins in there's a reference to a Trump suggestion that consideration should be given to jailing journalists who publish classified info.

As he's not denied the media's coverage over the last 4 days that he's referring to the cases against him, I guess their interpretation must be right. Unless, Trumps decided to stop using Twitter that is LOL

Not sure how you missed that as it was over most of the media at the time, as you'd expect. Even Fox news covered it.

Part of the settlement was Trump admitting he'd used the charity to fund his campaign and settle business debts.

Perhaps these cities want any immigrants to have due process and a fair hearing, not be locked in cages, have their kids taken away and "disappeared", etc

Indeed.

I admit I find references to ‘TDS’ and ‘orange man bad’ really tiresome. The implication appears to be that to call out trump on any of his relentless wrongdoing is a failing in the person bringing attention to it somehow. To suggest that is the case seems pathetically weak and shallow.

The cases they brought against him was after he took measures to make them follow federal laws. All things involve politics on both sides, it is foolish to believe otherwise. However, one must make sure their hand is strong before playing it. They did meet and parted without coming to an agreement. Fredo, refers to CNN's Cuomo who is the younger brother of the New York Governor and an anti-Trump news anchor.

He admitted it, then did he repay it or a fine as well? ETA: I see, in your Fox link. He was ordered to pay $2mil. A fine was applicaple but the judge set it at 2 mil.

And articles that are critical of Trump fall under that umbrella.

No, that happened. Guess how many times that has happened to Dem candidates and officials? Hint; far more than once.
