When America is in crisis it has a history of sticking with an incumbent 1st termer president, returning his for a second term to ‘get the job done’.

My thoughts are that Trump will manufacture a crisis to get another 4 years in power and avoid whatever awaits him after a loss.

He seems hell bent on a financial crisis and possible war in the Far East which to me haven’t seemed necessary.
It also has a history of not doing that, eg. Gerald Ford (crisis of American retreat from SE Asia, Oil wars etc), Jimmy Carter (hostage crisis, Soviet invasion of Afghanistan

Presidents are re-elected because either country is doing brilliantly or because the country is in crisis.

'She said she met Donald Trump one day in Mr. Epstein’s office, recalling Mr. Trump eyeing her before Mr. Epstein informed him that “she’s not for you.” Ms. Farmer’s mother, Janice Swain, recalled her daughter detailing the interaction with Mr. Trump around the time it occurred.'

So Trump did nothing inappropriate. Unless you feel that looking at a woman in a sexual nature meets that standard (99.99% of the male population would be guilty of this! laugh) And you also neglected to mention that Bill Clinton also met with Epstein but seemingly also did nothing improper. We all know Billy was a womaniser (much like Trump)

So why post that link again?

In that one instance, no, he didn't.

Again? A new story posted by the NY times today...

As far as I'm aware, Clinton wasn't accused of raping a minor, so once again there's a link to a story about trump, sets a pattern.

We know Clinton has confirmed that he traveled with Epstein several times in 2002 and 2003, including trips to Africa in connection with the Clinton Foundation, but there's no accusations from any of the women about Clinton. Trump however...

We also know Epstein had blackmail material, Pecker (National Enquirer - catch and kill stories about trump) and trump knew about these

The House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed former Trump admin aide Rob Porter to testify in its investigation regarding possible obstruction of justice by Trump.

Not sure what good that will do? Won't he just do the same as Hope Hicks and refuse to answer.

Trump now babbling about meeting Rouhani to defuse tensions in the gulf, tensions he deliberately created because he's a petulant child and had to dismantle anything touched by Obama. No doubt he's going to fall in love again and 'prove' he's the greatest statesman.

He's also repeated his claim that russia was booted out the G7 because of Obama

Grisham is in the same mold as Sanders. She said trump skipped the climate meeting: “The President had scheduled meetings and bilaterals with Germany and India, so a senior member of the Administration attended in his stead.”

Except that the leaders of Germany and India were at the climate change meeting.

Your not kidding,
I see the white house is already having to cover.

"Kim Jong Un — who I’ve gotten to know extremely well; the first lady has gotten to know Kim Jong Un, and I think she’d agree with me — he is a man with a country that has tremendous potential,” except that melania has never met him.

“President Trump confides in his wife on many issues including the detailed elements of his strong relationship with Chairman Kim — and while the First Lady hasn’t met him, the President feels like she’s gotten to know him too," said White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, who also served as Melania Trump's spokeswoman.

It's hilarious, he gets asked about trying to line his own pockets and his response was a full on pitch for his Miami golf course then responded to a question about a UK/US trade deal with another pitch naming all his Golf properties in Scotland.

hehe

It looks like trumps clampdown on immigration has affected the iraqi translators seeking to escape retribution for helping the US.

In fiscal year 2016, 325 Iraqis who had worked as interpreters were admitted to the U.S. In 2017, the number dropped to 196. And for fiscal year 2018 ending in September, only two former interpreters from Iraq received visas, a more than 99 percent decline over three years, according to statistics from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) obtained by NBC News.

Macrons press conference was interesting “WE have worked hand in hand with President Trump”, so deliberately drawing a line between trump and the rest of the G7?

trump claimed China called wanting to make a deal over his tarrifs, China said no such call occured

“China called last night our top trade people and said, ‘Let’s get back to the table.’ They have been hurt very badly, but they understand this is the right thing to do and I have great respect for it,” Trump told reporters during a bilateral meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the sidelines of the G-7 summit.

“I’m getting a lot of money in tariffs. It’s coming in by the billions,”

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang appeared to dispute Trump's claim that such phone conversations had taken place.

“I am not aware of the phone calls over the weekend you mentioned,” he said in response to a question at a Monday press briefing. “What I can say is that the trade differences should be solved through dialogue and consultation.“

Election fraud ahoy! The Federal Election Commission now can't meet, vote, impose fines, or do anything as there are not enough members for a quora. No new GOP members are being out forward by, guess who, Moscow Mitch.
So if(when!eek) Trump wins by cheating, he can say that it's legit as the FEC haven't complained

Patterson's gone, wonder what he was offered to nobble the FEC?
He was liked by trump who nominated him to the US District Court for the District of Columbia, but Petersen withdrew his nomination after struggling to answer basic legal questions during a Senate confirmation hearing.

Handy that, moscow mitch blocks any election fraud funding or action, then helps nobble the FEC. It's all out in the open how they are again trying to steal an election.

To be fair, he's just following his doctrine from the last year of Obama presidency and not allowing anyone to be named in positions of power...
