So there’s no proof he profited from this and nothing to say he wasn’t doing this just to show people back home he still cares?? Yet you’re implying he’s possibly doing this just for cash and headlines? Shock horror, ex soldier and head/founder of invictus has picture taken on Remembrance Sunday!!

You don’t think that there’s something wrong spending thousands to hire a fashion photographer to document this moment for your image? When you’ve specifically resigned from your position in the royal family?

If he hadn't it would have been a waste polishing his medals.

He arranged to be photographed laying a wreath in a foreign power’s military cemetery, on the UK’s Remembrance Sunday, after palace officials had already declined his offer of a wreath laid on his behalf at the Cenotaph. All very weird and a bit sad.

Do you guys ever stop to listen to yourselves?? The guy did numerous tours in active combat, flew apaches, founded invictus, headed up numerous other charities. He’s done loads for our country and people less well off or terribly injured. He’s done his bit and retired from official duties, had a phot taken, get over it.

But, what allowed him to do all of that was his Royal status, publicity etc. Without that he would of been Joe Ordinary.

He and his Mrs hated publicity and the Royal Status which gave him the opportunity to do great things hence why they ran away to come back wanting only good publicity. It doesn't work like that and as a grown adult he should know that. It's the total hypocrisy that pisses people off. Lecturing people about living a green life whilst swanning round in private jets themsleves.

Be a Royal do great things, keep your nose clean and accept there' s going to be some bad stuff as well as good. Or, bugger off and be Joe Ordinary. Doesn't matter either way but you can't have it both ways.

Don't you think you might be scraping the barrel a bit looking for something to post on this thread?

The Duchess of Sussex has admitted passing information to the authors of Finding Freedom despite previously dismissing claims that she cooperated with them as a "conspiracy theory".

In new documents lodged with the High Court, she reveals she was concerned that "her father’s narrative” - that she had abandoned him and cut off contact - might be repeated, prompting her to intervene.

The Duchess says she gave her own version of events to someone else to pass on, so “the true position… could be communicated to the authors to prevent any further misrepresentation.”

The guy has literally buggered off to be joe ordinary, however he will continue to be a household name.

Not his fault.

He's aiming to be "Joe Ordinary"? rofl

He's aiming to be a celebrity through association with his past life.

If he wanted to be "Joe Ordinary", then he has many examples of European Royals who've done just that. Or indeed some of his cousins.

But he’s Joe ordinary is he not?
I’m pretty sure he’s no longer a Royal.

What he does from here on out is no one else’s business. The only people complaining are butt hurt because he stopped being a Royal which he has every right to do.

This court case is working out brilliantly for them isnt it.

Oh, he's still a Royal (he's just not working). He's still "Prince Harry".

I'm complaining, and I give zero fks about him stopping Royal duties.

I do care about doing it under a claim of wanting a normal life - then every action showing that to be an outright lie. The hypocrisy is disgusting.

I think the normal life was that he doesn’t want to be doing Royal duties rather than not wanting to be a celeb?

I don’t understand why people are so butthurt that he gave up being a Royal and all the perks that come with it

If you look at the original release on the Sussex Royals website they created - he absolutely wanted to keep many of the perks. He still wanted to retain his honorary military titles, etc. But he also wanted to be able to earn money for being so (instead of recognising his life is paid for, and any 'work' should fund charitable endeavours as per the other major Royals).

They also said they wanted to be away from photographers all the time, etc. - then do things like hire one to release pics of them walking through a war cemetery 'paying respects'. Everything they've said on the matter is contradicted by their actions.

He still gets a massive "perk" of being a Royal - the stipend from the Duchy of Cornwall..

I quite like the model of the modern Royal family - a guilded cage, but immense public service. To want the trappings, yet to use the status to go earn millions personally is utter bullst.

With the cash from the Netflix deal, probably doesn't need it for a while.

Perhaps he could refuse it then?

Except he doesn't. The demonstrations of greed have been incredible (including skipping a Royal Marines event so he could try and glad hand a voice over role with Disney for his Mrs...).

Isn't that basically just money from his Dad? In which case it doesn't have anything to do with him being a Royal I would say - it's not public money.

It's money from the estate his dad has due to being heir to the throne ...
