Maybe it was incompetence, but for such crucial evidence you'd think they would export the video and check that it could be played on a separate system before allowing the original files to be overwritten?

I can believe incompetence if the system is in a mess to manage the way it is dealt with.

Gislane, come out come out wherever you are!
I asked where the fk she is in all this months ago.

I'll ask again, where the fk is she?

Good to know that if you're potentially complicit in crimes and the main guy dies (or murdered..) then you're seemingly forgotten about.

Good to know.

If it had just been overwritten then if it is stored on a HDD then surely this could have been recovered, especially by the FBI etc with the tools and experience they have at their disposal, so obviously a cover up.

Data on HDDs can usually be recovered if a file has merely been deleted, but generally not if the file has been deleted and then also overwritten.

Indeed.

I believe the DoD standards for destroying hard disks include (or used to) many overwrites on hard disks.

Ah ok, I understood it needed to be overwritten many times before it was not possible to recover anymore.

Its still an obvious cover up regardless, all just too convenient.

There could be some interesting times ahead. Especially if she really was an Israeli agent...

Interesting goings on. Miami Herald that broke some of the story, the owners have gone bankrupt or something and the paper that Trump likes (and helps him) will be a stable mate in the new owners portfolio.
