Jo on BBC now....

to paraphrase....

"When you are smashing glass ceilings, one of the consequences is that you get covered in broken glass"
Does she believe herself to be some sort of visionary pioneer?
That was my take, blamed her gender and everyone else for her loss too. Delusional.
Just seen it, yes I think that is what she was suggesting.

Laughable isn't it.
I heard that line being pushed again this morning on local radio. Election was absolutely nothing to do with Brexit, all to do with Corbyn. There you have it the so-called educated telling us, the so-called uneducated, again.

Dicks! Labour turning blue is about one thing only yesterday, Brexit!
.
YOu think the Jezza factor wasn't a big factor? A lot of talking heads (all stripes) do.

It's not surprising that Swinson's played the 'discrimination' card, it shows the type of person she is. Notably it was a female candidate from a party led by a woman that knocked her out. I've no time for politicians that play games like that. Just get on and do the job, man or woman. When you fail, take it on the chin and stop trying to make out you were hard done by. Corbyn too!

It was about Corbyn and his far left views.

It was about Corbyn and thinking that if he said nothing on his view on Brexit he was being clever.

"Most" people saw through him in the end.

I had a couple come in on Thursday and said they had always been Labour and they voted Remain, however, they had just voted Tory. How did that happen?

He said that the spending of Corbyn and all the free stuff was simply ridiculous and would put pur country into so much debt that no services could be paid for.

The problem with Corbyn is they thought enough people were stupid enough for fall for it. He underestimated the country's intelligence.

another delicious example of the "go woke go broke" wake up call many are feeling (how's it going Gilette?).

When are these fools going to realize that SJW PC crap isn't really embraced by the majority of people, who look at these fools with a raised eyebrow and sneer and going back to being a decent hard working person.
Playing the sexism card at every opportunity, is so counter productive and such a poor example of leadership.

TL:DR LOL
Ok boomer.

I understand people may disagree with her policies and/or politics, but is it really necessary to make comments about her physical appearance, her teeth, her dress sense?

No, not really. But we do it. We judge each other on how we look, Naked Attraction is an example. The same criticism has been aimed at BoJo and JCo and it's just an extension of our dislike for them, generally, anyway.

personally I think the way it was dealt with for the best.
By losing her seat she couldn't stay on as the leader. Had she done so the air would have been toxic around her.
Events overtook her and fate dealt with it
Best all round

I do think its ironic all the time given over to her in interviews, debates leader debates etc
We have had way too much politics way too many debates
