10 year anniversary... ideas required!
Discussion
Anyone?! I am sh** out of ideas.
Looking for something original and that will ideally earn me some brownie points.
Its meant to be "tin" at 10 years but I doubt she will be happy with a tin bed pan.... despite there being a genuine business need.
I will probably get a decent bottle of champagne (even though I hate the stuff) and that's about all I have come up with so far.

Also 10 years this year though not until the end of November. We need to get on and plan something as we usually get to dump the children on the grandparents for this one weekend of the year (we do something the weekend after the actual date). The gift bit of it neither of us are that bothered about, it's the weekend away that makes it especially if we can go somewhere nice for a meal.
Anyone mentioned the OXO Tower yet

If you can go better than just a 'night out & a meal'. Put more effort in coming up with something special like combining the meal with a nice hotel as we all like to be pampered & it does not have to be a five star job. Search small country hotels where you don't pay for grovelling staff & overpriced food.
I've got an idea. Stick with the perfectly adequate, traditional, British English construction "Tenth". See the below etymology for clues. (unless you are in fact, and American teenager)
After ten years you must have a tiny inkling of something she'd really like...get the best one of those you can afford.

Something personalised from www.notonthehighstreet.com?
Or if feeling flush, the modern/US gift for a 10th anniversary is diamonds (which surely says something about the anticipated longevity of marriage these days...).
