Said in another thread if they field a Brexit candidate here I'll probably vote for them, as I think a lot of people will as well, and I think that will be the only chance of unseating the current Labour MP for a while, he'll probably retain his seat while having to do nothing for it, but at least there might be a chance. This is the North East, Labour owns it.

Think it would be good to get NI parties on the list as there are PHers from there. And one of their parties is keeping the government in power right now too!

Perhaps not anymore now they've turned their backs on leave voters. The big question will be, and I will admit for the first time in my life I have thought the same, is how many people will question the point of voting as it has been proven that it doesn't matter.

If the Tories & the Brexit Party get their acts together I think they'll get the win albeit as a coalition.

No Deal looks favourite on the 31st October.

Tricky. Labour are usually a shoe in where I am. I now don't want to vote Cons.
Plaid or Greens. Plaid drop their independence crap it would be them. Greens. But I don't quite like what they want.
Back to cons and labour, Labour means Corbyn and never in a millions years would I vote for that fool, someone decent at the helm then possibly.

Spoiled paper methinks. Shower of brown runny stuff the lot of them.

Tories or Brexit for me. Depends on how they present at the time.

Although being in Glasgow it'll be a fking wasted vote in reality. I'll have to rely on you Englanders doing what's right. smile

If Bojo strips back the tories to the hard-core rump, he may win in a coalition deal with Farage.
Of course stripping out well liked tory grandees like Soames and Clarke may affect things too adversely in the relevant constituencies...it's a right ole stshow.

I'm in the same area and, yes, there will still be a lot of numpties who will still vote labour "because Labour" but a lot of long-time Labour voters won't. They won't because they fear a Jeremy Corbyn premiership and because they know that Labour have sold them out over Brexit. If TBP field candidates against them they will I think be hit hard - perhaps decimated!

You are right in what you say about people not bothering to vote. However, I don't think that will come true this time round, especially round here as it's strongly Leave and people want to see that happen. If we don't leave, however, then I think you're right.

I’m surprised at the anger towards Labour from those who voted Leave but traditionally voted for them. I think the days of sticking a blue/red rosette on a chimp and them winning are over.

I'm never voting for a pro-Brexit party again, so Lib Dems it is.

Interview in TV with a person in one of the red rosette will always win area's (BBC or ITV Wales, forget which). Person on interview didn't like Corbyn at all but will always vote labour.

Tories need to not stand in Labour heartland seats. These are seats that they have no chance of winning anyway, so no damage done, If 50% of the electorate want Brexit, then TBP will end up with 100+ seats and Labour will struggle to actually be the opposition.

In exchange TBP don’t stand in Conservative marginals.

TBP and Tories have a proper alliance for the purposes of Brexit only. Labour voters voting for TBP won’t have to worry about “Giving a vote to Boris” because the coalition won’t exist after Brexit happens, there’ll be another election.

The only problem with this is that Labour would wake up and get rid of Steptoe, and thus become a credible opposition.

I think the next election will be almost the second referendum. Leave parties v remain parties.

It will be interesting to see if Labour actually say where they stand on Brexit. I get the feeling they will promote a "soft brexit" option to try and keep some of their electorate who voted leave. I just hope those voters don't fall for it a second time.

I have previously voted Labour - wont be doing it again - ever!

John McDonnell if they get elected they will negotiate a better deal, then have a referendum at which they will campaign to reject their deal and remain!

That will either be Putin orchestrating a campaign of disinformation and hate speech or yaaang people finding smart new ways of voting, depending on who they're voting for.
