You and he have one thing in common then.

I’ll go with 20-25 majority as Knowing how many intelligent friends and business owners that I know seem to love JC I think may impact that majority.

Of course come this time tomorrow unite and momentum will be on the streets marching on Whitehall for a recount as 20-25 is not a majority in their eyes rofl
Whatever happens Momentum will try and spin it as a victory. Especially if BJ loses his seat but JC keeps his which is why they are pushing so hard to try and unseat Boris. The really worrying thing is the number of comments I've seen already saying that if Labour loses it will be because 'Zionists' have manipulated the election.

You don’t have to be the best, just better than the rest.

Talk on Newsnight tonight of this essentially being a social media battle ... most people preaching to the converted though.

My daughter (25) got all her info about the candidates from social media - she never watches a news programme or reads a paper ... a lot of people her age just don't anymore. They read a lot online but you point out that perhaps the sites they read have a political bias, and she says she never realised and thought it was all The Truth. And she is ooni-ver-sity-edukaited. M A D.

If it was done with 48hrs notice it'd all be a lot easier ... and less expensive. The Lib Dems have been spending a fortune in their online ad campaign ... more than the other two main parties. Doesn't seem to have worked for them though - but that's The Swinson Factor.
My daughter is the same and she's twenty years older than yours! She also has a degree: BSc(Hons) from UCL. rolleyes

That could be the best result. Conservatives with a thumping majority but BoJo losing his seat! Now I know, theoretically, you don’t have to be an elected MP to be the PM but even the Conservatives couldn’t stick with Boris in that situation . . . . . could they?

Normally I don’t like thumping majorities as it weakens the opposition parties too much but it is time for Labour to wake up and smell the coffee. A small Conservative majority will not effect any change in the Labour situation whereas a thumping loss just cannot be ignored . . . . . . can it?

Held my nose and voted conservative , although with a 6k majority it's going to be difficult to unseat Clive Efford here in Eltham
But the thought of Grandad and his baggage walking into No 10 ,Well .....

Just had a read through some of these threads. Seem to be a mix of Tory supporters telling everybody that they will be voting Conservative, and Labour supporters telling everybody that they will definately not be voting labour, but everybody else should.

I think they might have more success if they had a co-ordinated plan to just plant one in each forum.

I was there for 7am on the dot thinking I’d be the only one - far from it - and even a little old lady arriving in a taxi which I thought was nice.

Con majority, maybe as high as 50 is my bet with them taking big numbers in Northern England.

Once again I’m working the election.

For people voting.

Either bring your polling card.
Or give your name AND address.

The amount of people that walk up and just give a name is beyond a joke. hehe

I’ve 1552 names, help me narrow it down...

Hoping for a Tory majority.

Just got from doing my bit for the Tory cause...I drove 15 miles to the largest town to put out A boards at the four polling stations and will be back at 10pm to pick them up. I intend to stay up through the night so might have a few hours in bed during the day....

I’ve revised my prediction down to 16; my former SNP colleague is going for a Tory majority of 25, with the loser buying lunch. If it’s more than >25 I will happily buy him lunch!

I'm extremely nervous about this. Even if the torys win, with the SNP having a disproportionate number of seats they can really fk this up
