It’s like bash a mole with all these returning ex banned Farage/UKIP/brexit party supporters who seem to be bearing a grudge from the moment they turn up.

Maybe you’re another of gooner’s creations. hehe
Why do you think I'm a Farage / UKIP / Brexit party supporter? (I'm not).
Because you joined and immediately started telling everyone what it’s like on here, then pretended you read back through old threads and then resumed old grudges with the leavers.

We just disagree. That's allowed. Some like to use the excuse that "the ends justifies the means", but others will take the view that you have to be morally bankrupt, stupid or a racist yourself to support a racist like Nigel with his posters, AfD associations and the link - no matter what the cause.

It isn't rocket science at all, no. The intent of his poster was blatant, crystal clear. Give him a pass for that and you are complicit.

Brexit is not a reason to tolerate a racism from the likes of Farage, is it? There are no acceptable reasons to tolerate racism.
Your first two paras are student politics levels of debate.
Your last, there you go again about racists.

'Old grudges with the leavers'? What are you talking about?

1. You don't have to be a TBP / UKIP supported to be more relaxed about Brexit than people like Breadvan

2. I just commented that it's hard to have a grown up discussion when certain people insist on using "St Farage" in every post in such a puerile way.

I don't see you trying to have a 'grown up discussion' with anyone. All you have done is bicker with everyone.

I've pointed it out before, but I cannot believe someone who is undoubtedly intelligent and has a high-flying, high-paid career (this is not sarcasm btw) keeps coming back time and again and posts with exactly the same style as before before getting banned again in a few days.

It honestly does beggar belief at the inability to learn from past experience.
Nothing to do with 'learning from experience'. Returning members get re-banned regardless, nothing to do with their posting style.

It's just a shame that the mods seem to accept the same or similar posting style from some people and not others. Likewise, it's a shame that some members are prepared to accept consistent abusive posts from those that broadly share their viewpoint but don;t apply the same rules for those that don't.

However, if the mods can choose when to apply the rules and when to ignore them, then so can (ex)members...

It's difficult to have a grown up conversation with anyone who allows themselves to be whipped up into a fury about 'elites' by wealthy newspaper owners and assorted ex-public schoolboys, and imagines that Europe would be a better place if only we could put some populist racists in charge

Why on earth do you think loads of posters recognise you whenever you keep rejoining?

You mean like we all recognised ///adj / Gloria / Deepend ??

Whenever a 'new' member posts in this sub-forum, the usual suspects are immediately accusing them of being returned banned members.

Challenging people who make offensive claims that aren't supported by evidence shouldn't be such a problem.

I aimed it at your level, which I thought you'd appreciate.

You don't counter the key argument - also made clearly by bhStewie above.

There isn't a reason to tolerate & support the racism that Farage pumps out, is there?

Do you agree with that, or will I get another ad hom? Should be easy to agree as you are no Farage supporter, are you?

Sidicks, are you thick?

Why keep rejoining a forum and immediately make yourself recognised by being the same antagonistic poster that got you banned about twenty times, is it a compulsive disorder or something?

If you like posting here and want to join in, then just don’t argue about brexit and politics and launch straight into your old online “enemies” and nobody will recognise you within 2 minutes of rejoining.

1. I've not be banned twenty times for being antagonistic. I've been banned once for which I never received a reason. The other times it has purely been as a returning banned member, regardless of what I posted.

2. Other people have been equally or more antagonistic - making direct attacks on other members (not on other member's opinions) and have repeatedly broken posting rules - but have not been banned. I'm simply pointing out the inconsistency. smile

Sidicks, you once argued for 200 pages about whether you were racist or not. Most people would defend themselves once and move on.

Why do you want to keep rejoining?

Do you like it here? If so then just stop arguing pointlessly and change your style.

If you went to see a therapist and told them you keep rejoining a car forum to get the last word in, then they might be able to help you.

Not true. /adj made some offensive accusations and I sought to defend myself. I have since seen that he thinks everyone is racist though, so not sure it was worth the bother.

Do you tell other people to change their offensive, incitefull posting style, or only just those that don't share your opinions?

.
You’re a bit of a unique case.

You’re the one that got banned from the forum and keeps rejoining. You then keep getting recognised within minutes of rejoining because you post with such a ‘distinctive’ style and can’t stop arguing.

What do you think will happen?

Don’t you think it’s time to simply move on or if you must rejoin just not post like you do?

The problem isn’t the mods or other posters, it’s you and the way you post.
