I'm afraid I find it pathetic. The stage management of anything that can score a political point. Why can't people from all sides realise when they stoop to these levels of detached reality, they are dimimishing the message, the problem. People are sick of media manipulation to forward agendas, our recent election being a prime example. You can't go wrong with the truth, it's already happened and people live it. It doesn't need wrapped up in a colourful box and tied with a rainbow of tears.

I agree. I hope the rot can be stopped.

Agreed.

St Greta was rumbled a while back & the overblown rhetoric merely serves to switch people off from the subject.

It's no surprise certain types adopt the tactics though, they don't seem to learn.

I think all those on BOTH sides of this debate can agree with that.

This was not aimed at Greta , it was aimed at everyone who overestimates their right to push an agenda and underestimates the intelligence of those whom they push said agenda upon

Right, and it equally applies to her as the vocal point.

Indeed...you may have missed that biggbn and I are often on opposite sides of the debate.

lol ok. She's far more likely to casually use a phrase from her native language than a colloquialism in her second or third. Do you think she genuinely wishes for world leaders to be executed? Apart from this 'slip of the tongue' do you have any other evidence that suggests she feels that way? You're being ridiculous.
The phrase is well known by all knowing a bit of English, even here in Sweden.

Do you agree that the English phrase and the direct Swedish translation have very different cultural meanings?

Perhaps because Sweden participate in WW1?
They are different yes, and it is also well known that the English phrase has a totally different meaning.

St. Greta does not write her own stuff - whoever did write it knew exactly what it means to the audience it is aimed (no pun intended) at!!

Even if Greta did write her own stuff, do you think she spouts it without it first being checked by at least one of her many entourage?

Looks like she's been rumbled by Deutsche Bahn - first class seat, it seems:

Rumbled for what? Her train was cancelled, so she sat on the floor on the first 2 trains, then got a seat on the third.

Why would she be sat on the floor with a First Class ticket? The train company have called her out on it. She's full of st as per usual.

That is a clearly staged photo too, now if there other passengers in the photo; normal people, then it would be a bit more believable and it is very well framed, it isn't just a snap.

She's not criticised DB.

She was sitting on the floor because her 1st train was cancelled.

She seems to suggest that it's a good thing that the train was overcrowded as they are more environmentally friendly. DB also post about the train being powered by Eco-friendly electricity.

Who do some people seem to be getting so excited? confused

Are you suggesting that a First Class ticket holder would be forced to sit on the floor in a replacement train? I find that highly doubtful.

I assume it's the same as what happens in the UK. When a train gets cancelled the next one tends to be rammed and your seat reservation doesn't apply. So yes, it's quite possible that there wasn't a seat available for her on the replacement train.
