Have you even read that snopes page? The only thing it says about this picture :
"The photograph of Thunberg wearing an "Antifascist All Stars" T-shirt was authentic".

In other words, a "fact" as you like to put it

How about because the other thing they said was pure conjecture.

The fact is that both she and her parents have been photographed wearing Antifa TShirts but snopes says she denies supporting Antifa. If someone had lent her a T-Shirt denying MMGW would she have worn that? I seriously doubt it.

ETA: Infact, having read it again, they dont even suggest that she said anything to dent her support of Antifa. It looks like it is Snopes opinion what her motive was!

Snopes is not an objective fact checking service. It is quite bizarre that they get portrayed as such.
