I suppose we older people shouldn’t be too hard on the climate alarmists ,
Our generation believed we were going to be wiped out by nuclear Armageddon , and built thousands of bunkers
The windmills etc are just the same sort of thing really
I would guess it will be fear of something else in a few years time maybe viruses ? when we have forgotten and moved on from the climate stuff .
Haven't you noticed, as per plan, that it's gone:

- Climate
- Climate (people seeing through it)
- Virus
- Virus (oh, they're all vaxxed)
- Climate/4th Ind Rev/GR/BBB

Keep em scared and keep moving targets...

25 yrs of this. What has been achieved exactly? Reduction in global emissions? Reduction in consumption? Reduction in travel? Reduction in manufacturing? Build a pile of windmills... Fraudulent ets... ESG driving markets.

Essentially fk all!

Not just the northern hemisphere that's seeing prolonged record cold.

Parts of Australia are currently seeing blizzards and lowest temps for 37 years.

Some reports are saying coldest temps for 100 years.

In these times of global heating climate emergency I think these global record lows are certainly interesting. Of course it will still probably be the warmest year ever wink

No doubt you were convinced about global warming last summer.
I’m not entirely sure you’ve got the hang of this climate change stuff, bless you.

Stating that climate change isn't a real threat while also being angry that not enough has been done about it is impressive inconsistency, even for this thread.

Thanks. He didn't get that, and even I'm surprised it was too much for him!

Let's go back to this.

What has actually been achieved in mitigation of global warming?

In other words, you're agreeing with Greta Thunberg now?

Isn't her sentiment that the solutions implemented so far have not been effective? Basically the same as what you're saying?

Whilst we are globally adding between between 287, and 326 (net) thousand new resource consuming, emissions producing entities to the planet every day, any appreciable change to the better is going to be unlikely.
Strangely Thunberg does not seem to want to go near issues concerning global population levels, and the effects that this has had, and is having not just on the climate, but on the planet as a whole.

Maybe she's giving herself some breathing space until she decides whether to have kids or not?.....whereas Attenborough (at the other end of the age scale and reproductive career wink ) speaks out vehemently against overpopulation.

People thought that Biden was the 2nd coming. He will prove disastrous to the US and the West in general.
