Help please, put the drivers side window down on my Tamora ,can't get it to go back up.When you touch the down button it clicks at the motor when you touch the up button nothing no sound or movement. Not being very good with electrics any ideas as to what might be the issue. Many thanks.

Have you checked the obvious/simple things? Happened to me and the down button was physically stuck down. The button presses onto a circuit board mounted switch behind, worth checking 1st if you haven’t already.

Hadn’t noticed the thread below, some potentially helpful pictures in that!

The button feels like it is operating normally have spent most of the afternoon trying to get to the back of the buttons, as it's the drivers side seems to be impossible. I have removed the complete dash but still can't get to them. According to book ,remove radio ,undue the two 8m nuts, the pod should come out ,doe's it heck.Unless i'm missing something i can't move.it !!!!!

I think there’s actually 3 nuts, all bloody awkward!

You can see them on the pictures on the other thread, someone with very small hands to help is useful.

Probably worth checking the fuse too if you haven’t already?

Thanks for the suggestions, didn't think it would be the fuse as the down button seems to be working but will check n/s switch is accessible from behind the glove box. Without getting the radio pod out it's not possible to get to the nuts on the d/s switch. Will also have a look for the control unit.

Is the door open? The window won't close with the door open... Sorry if its a 'of course it bleeding is' reply.

Are you able to open the ECU up and take a look at it, there may be some corrosion or a broken circuit board track

It may also be possible to test a relay once inside

Can I see a dry joint @ relay to PCB?

Looking at the dark ring around the joint, images often play games with eyes, could be ok, can be looked at through magnifying glass

Every time I have found a dry joint it has been on the connector pins. The6 are through plated boards so need a good sweat to get the heat into the pins.

Good eyes for spotting that and yes, better images would help.

Couldn't get any sleep, bad soldered joint wouldn't leave my mind

Bigger image of the suspected bad joint might put my mind to rest

Will pay good money for a good image

Should that joint be the problem, any computer or TV repair man will be able to solder it

Begging for a better image, life will never be the same without one

Thank you in advance
