How can anyone seriously question that story now? THe hospital said it was true. The tories have been found to have spread false tweets that it was a set up when it wasn't, and Matt Hancock, flying to the rescue invents a story about 1 of his staff being assaulted by Labour protestors, when again, it's since been proven nothing of the sort happened.
All of that is lies and HAS to be indefensible in any democracy, surely?!
Read their statement. They really didn't say it was true. To reach that conclusion is making a step where there isn't one. All of that is lies and HAS to be indefensible in any democracy, surely?!
They didn't give a reason as to why the boy was sleeping on coats, nor why the picture was taken. All they said was that there was temporarily a shortage of beds due to an influx of more urgent cases. This was a matter of hours, not days or weeks.
Mum of the boy has said he chose to sleep on the coats as he found them more comfy than sitting on the chairs.
This particular storm really has been blown out of its teacup and unfortunately more than one political party has attempted to make gain from it.
^^^
One party put a massive drive in this to discredit it. Look how far Alison Pearson (Telegraph) and the Tom Newton Dunn and Guido went with their followers.

You seem to be making things up.... as far as I can see from the reports Matt Hancock was in a car travelling somewhere else and did not know about and had nothing to do with the claims. I am happy to be proved wrong if there is video of him 'inventing' the story...
You need video of him inventing a story that's already been debunked. Classic PH NPE...Flip Martian said:

You forgot to drop a "coward" in there as well. Do try harder. All of that is lies and HAS to be indefensible in any democracy, surely?!

It's not about the boy though is it. The story is of the complete mental collapse of the prime minister when asked about something not on his script. If Johnson had looked at the picture and said something like 'that looks dreadful, I don't know all the facts but will look into it', the whole thing is a non-event.They didn't give a reason as to why the boy was sleeping on coats, nor why the picture was taken. Think about it for moment - we have a Prime Minister who folds completely at the fist sign of anything outside of his carefully scripted comfort zone.

Are you concerned that a PM might only have two seconds to make a decision based on very little information, without any prior warning?Think about it for moment - we have a Prime Minister who folds completely at the fist sign of anything outside of his carefully scripted comfort zone.

How much time do you think he should have been given to consider it? A day?

And yet again, these orchestrated tory lie-bots came close to getting some more mud to stick.
If you were one of the people who believed the twitter accounts until they were caught out, ask yourself what else they have lied to you about.

As far as Boris Johnson, our returning PM in waiting and the subject of this thread is concerned, It all boils down to this.

You need video of him inventing a story that's already been debunked. Classic PH NPE...Everyone has access to Twitter.
There are videos of what actually happened all over Twitter.
Yet still people don't seem to be able to check the basics but will believe whatever "facts" backup their "side".
